Note: Little Mermaid is her official game name, but will be referring her as Siren in this guide.
Overview
- Great B1 buffer with good buffing capabilities despite the rather small numbers, this is due to Siren giving mostly undiluted values/multipliers (Damage taken + ATK damage up) for the team, which is equal to or slightly more than Rapi: Red Hood and D: Killer Wife with all her possible buffs in most meta teams.
- Good damage as a support/CDR Nikke. Dealing more damage than Dorothy due to taking advantage of elemental damage properly, and Siren burst being able to fully benefit from full burst multipliers and offensive buffs with rather high base % values. Siren should also have Similar DPS compared to B1 Rapi: Red Hood.
- Ideal to pair with 2 MGs for her skill 1 burst gen and increased damage from her skill 2 procs. This would ensure smooth burst rotations without the need of a charge type weapon (burst generator) in the team.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Siren is a great starter Nikke to have a Cool down reduction Nikke is vital to have in all teams. She provides burst generation fill (which is good with newbie Commanders due to lack of burst generators) and ammo refill while providing DPS-like damage.
Siren is one of the better CDRs when she gets released. She can match or exceed Rapi: Red Hoods’ buffing capabilities while also being able deal similar damage to Rapi: Red Hood, and she is known to be equal to or slightly better than liter (in most teams) as a B1 buffer due to personal damage and decent offensive buffs. Siren can offer both to a equal degree while also providing other utility such as burst generation and ammo refill.
Siren does lack defensive utility (which Liter has) and flexibility of Rapi: Red Hood (Can slot as a main DPS). However, Siren does have more universal team options/can fit different team archetypes more easily than other CDRs due to her burst gen refill and ammo refund. Additionally, Siren is the best CDR for wind-type content, no contest. (more Kraken Bully Units)
Since her kit relies on rate of fire, it is heavily recommended to have the game set at a stable 60 fps (as you should anyways) at all times as weapon rate of fire is dependent on FPS, especially MGs

Skill 1: Bubble Order
Activates only when in Focusing status. Affects all allies.
Focuses fire continuously
Activates when Full Burst ends. Affects all allies.
Cooldown of Burst Skill ▼ 7.48 sec.
Activates when entering Full Burst. Affects all allies.
Attack Damage ▲ 4% for 10 sec.
Activates each time total ammo consumed by allies reaches 400. Affects all allies.
Fills Burst Gauge by ▲ 37%.
Siren brings a new buff into the table, and that is focusing status. Luckily this is easy to explain as it was showcased in the anniversary stream. If a player is manually controlling any Nikke, that Nikke is considered to be “focusing”, the buff itself is similar to full burst aim in where all Nikkes will point at the spot the Commander is aiming at. This can be useful in Campaign for environmental damage/burst gen and of course, selective targeting outside full burst.
Siren also provides non-conditional CDR similar to Rapi: Red Hood while also providing a minor ATK damage buff for the team.
Here’s the tricky and one of the highlights of her kit, her burst generation fill. Ideally, the Commander wants to slot in 2 MGs with her to smoothly rotate between full burst cycles.
2 MGs + SMG + any 2 weapons that fire 20 rounds per second will equate to 400 bullets every 2.5 seconds. a normal MG Nikke generates 15% of the full burst bar in 2.5s against boss Raptures (half against mobs), AR generates 12%-18% (outdated AR Nikkes have lower values), SMGs 10%. A team with 2 MGs, 1 SMG, and 2 ARs would generate at minimum 64%, her passive will then be able to completely fill it to ensure a smooth 2.5s rotation. Options such as RLs/Clip SGs/Snipers can be slotted to account for any reload times/downtime.
The bullet count should still count during full burst, and the team may get Siren’s burst gen passive may proc earlier than 2.5s.
Skill 2: Bubble Wave
Activates when the enemy appears. Affects the target.
Bubble: Damage Taken ▲ 5.05% continuously
Activates after landing 50 normal attacks(s). Affects the target if the target is in Bubble status.
Explosive Bubble: Damage Taken ▲ 5.05% continuously
Stuns for 3 sec.
Removes Bubble.
Activates every 1 sec only during Full Burst. Affects random enemy unit(s)
Deals 63.36% of final ATK as damage. Attacks sequentially for 4 time(s).
Activates each time total ammo consumed by allies reaches 500. Affects random enemy unit(s).
Bubble Barrage: Deals 85% of final ATK as damage. Attacks sequentially for 10 time(s)
A permanent 5% damage taken debuff to either all enemies that appear or boss targets. I will assume it is strictly against boss targets otherwise Siren would have the ability to stun any mob in Campaign. Will change this section otherwise. (She’d be like, SSS tier Campaign and like, god knows what ranking in PvP if this applies to every enemy)
Update: She does infact, have the ability to apply bubble + stun to any Rapture that spawns and against opposing Nikkes in PvP.
Her skill 2 is where most of her damage will come from, bringing her damage comparable to Burst I Rapi: Red Hood, more or less, depending on how many MGs are put in the team and other factors (if core is present and etc), assuming against single targets.
Siren’s Bubble barrage should count bullets outside of full burst so it’s not necessary to reach certain team Rate of Fire for increased DPS thresholds, although obviously more MGs would be ideal for her DPS, it’s not worth sacrificing team synergy over it.
Update: There is a new setting in the game that eliminates the RoF decrease on lower than 60 fps gameplay. it is found in settings -> Battle. make sure to always enable this at all times.

Burst: Siren’s Song
Affects all allies.
Attack Damage ▲ 10.13% for 10 sec.
Reloads 33.26% magazine(s)
Affects self.
ATK ▲ 17.28% of caster’s ATK for 10 sec.
The most underwhelming part of Siren’s Kit. Siren’s burst doesn’t offer much compared to the rest of her kit, but despite that, she’s still a great CDR. Her ammo refill helps uptime, more effectively on MGs.
Campaign
Assuming she straight up doesn’t have the ability to possibly stun any rapture on screen (skill 2) which if true, makes her SSS+ tier in campaign due to the flexibility this tech can do for experienced players (target stun dangerous raptures, stalling, etc etc)
Siren performs a bit better than the usual CDRs (Rogue, D: Killer Wife), and mostly equal to Rapi: Red Hood despite dealing lower single target damage (SMG weapon accuracy sucks, and her skills target at random). Siren does make up for it with utility, more notably her focus fire mechanic and ammo refill.
There isn’t any favored teams for Siren in Campaign as she could fit any team and most of her MG-tailored skills do not matter as much as it would against bossing content, and is not worth slotting good Campaign Nikkes for.
Arena
Case 1 (If bubble applies to every enemy in Arena)
Siren’s stun is a very key CC tool to have, since she can stun a key B1 or B2 unit depending on opponent burst speed for THREE (3) seconds. That is, a LOT! That is where her major use will revolve around. Her Burst Generation passive is too slow to matter, so that can be ignored. Look forward to her PvP review as well as guides about Champions Arena, along with updated team comps to use!
Update: Case 1 is true
Case 2 (if it does not)
Since Siren’s stun does not work in PvP, she is more or less a useless unit for PvP in 99% of the cases. Her Burst Generation procs too late to matter, hence that can be ignored. She is moreso not relevant enough for PvP
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
WIth a new wind character, comes with more Kraken bullying opportunities.
She can deal good damage as a support Nikke while offering excellent utility against Kraken, easily best in slot CDR Nikke for wind weak anomaly interception.
Kraken Team (Non-Limited Nikkes)
The new Luxury Kraken team, but there are multiple strong substitutes for this team such as
Kraken Substitute teams
Helm treasure can be replaced with Naga, Crown can be replaced with Grave in any of the teams listed below.
Recommended to have multiple Elemental rolls (2+) for Asuka: Wille, otherwise stick to Alice if the Commander has her well invested for SBS buff stacking.
Ludmilla: Winter owner can be replaced with any sub-buffer or sub-DPS.
Solo Raid
Siren can fit any team, but ideally, she’d want to be paired with 2 MGs if the Commander wants to run her without any charge shot weapons/burst generators.
Strengths
- Non-Conditional CDR
- Offers Great utility in the form of burst gen and ammo reload
- Decent offensive buffs as a CDR Nikke
- Deals comparable damage to B1 Rapi: Red Hood
- Enables Teams that don’t require charge type weapons/burst generation weapons (Sniper, Rocket Launchers, etc)
Weaknesses
- Water themed Nikke but wind element (??)
- A decent amount of her damage is locked behind team fire rate and fitting more than 2 MGs in a team can lead to anti-team synergy. New Commanders may not even have usable MG Nikkes at all.
Personal Notes
Sirens Buffs do look underwhelming, but do keep in mind she’s a CDR Nikke with good personal damage, quite literally comparable to Rapi: Red Hood, basically a wind type of her. Rapi: Red Hood just has the advantage of being a flexible Nikke and while also having the option to be a DPS Nikke and etc.
Siren is in a healthy spot in the Meta, just not quite unique for being a Anniv Nikke.
Should you pull?
Yeah, definitely, her DPS output is great for a support Nikke and will be used in solo raid as a staple CDR Nikke for a long time. She also enables smoothens out all team archetype full burst rotations if the Commander does not have any of the meta burst gen DPSs (Alice, Red Hood, helm treasure, etc)
Cool down reduction Nikkes are simply overpowered in this game, and if the CDR Nikke is better than what is currently available, they’ll be vital to most content/selective content.

Siren’s a wind element because bubbles are filled with air! (?)
I think you might be on to something here ….
Someone said she’s wind element in reference to the original little mermaid story where the mermaid became a Wind fairy or something like that
I have to assume they made her Wind because otherwise the Doro fans would riot.
Personally, I always thought Wind would have fit Doro better, thematically, but here we are: a Water based Grimm whose only connection to that element is tea, forcing a Water-themed Grimm to be Wind-based instead.
I think the weird elemental choice also has to do with most of the meta units after Rapi being water too and that wind hasn’t had an actually meta character since SBS
Hello ^^, thank you for your analysis. Sincerely.
Holy creep, it is back, she gives SO MUCH BURST REGEN, I benched RH, it feels so bad that Dorothy was really underwhelming and now this monster releases, I can finally bench RH and do Rappi RH, Crown, Cinderella, Siren and Helm and just smoke the entire game, the power level is just beyond imagination rn.
I’m sorry but Alice is no way better than Asuka for Kraken; not even close when she does the same amount of damage Scarlet:BS. So throwing her into best in slot section instead of Asuka seems a little misinformed.
A bit more on topic of Siren, liquid metal is not water. And there’s air in bubbles. So her element checks out.
The team is focusing on hyper buffing SBS as Alice does increase Charge speed for her as well, which is a massive chunk of her damage. Alice is no slouch either in regards to DPS despite neutral element.
Alice isn’t severely outclassed by Wille’s Personal damage with elemental damage (obviously depends on ED rolls, but should be around 50% Wille with 2x+ ED rolls) and Alice directly buffs SBS by a direct DPS multiplier of 30%~
Outside of Maid team (SBS orientated team/buffs) Alice SBS isn’t far off from a 3-4x Element roll Asuka:Wille/SBS team. I should however at least list it as a possible strong substitute, thanks
Maybe I’m just not pressing fast enough with Alice then because she’s always only ever done about 2/4 of the damage SBS & Asuka do even though she’s in very good OL gear.
Whereas SBS/Asuka would do 1.5-2M, Alice would below 1M any given time. She’s essentially just there to give burst from my personal experience, which Helm just can do with better perks.
I will agree though that the burst gen with just Asuka isn’t sufficient with that specific team and when I said that I was saying it with the SBS, Crown, Rapi, Asuka, Helm team in mind, who melts that boss like hot butter.
updated reply as little mermaid teams should not have burst gen issues with Crown + Asuka: Wille unlike in Rapi: RH teams.
“Siren is in a healthy spot in the Meta, just not quite unique for being a Anniv Nikke.”
Wut? she literally is a B1 Crown, she is crazy broken…
A lot of the community were thinking she was underwhelming/weak prior to release, which was when this guide was made
Although I wouldnt quite say B1 Crown
So, use her in Arena or nah? Not sure if I should be benching my Jackal for her.
“Water themed Nikke but wind element (??)”
Check out the actual story of Little Mermaid (not the Disney one) to understand why ^^
After testing a bit Siren on bosses i gotta say, devs made another shit design after crown. Nothing more fun than visual effects that cover half of screen or make aiming a lot harder for no reason. Sure i know majority plays on phone with autoaim but still, thats just shit design you cannot defend.
That’s the price to pay for the ultimate power in this game…
“Dorothy. I’m giving you a promotion!”
(MERMITE)
“Yep, now you’re fired.”
Still waiting on the Mihara guide
