What is Re:Zero?
Re:Zero is a series of light novels (young adult fiction) by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shin’ichirō Ōtsuka, with popular manga and anime adaptations. The story centers on Subaru Natsuki, a hikikomori (total withdrawal from society and seeking extreme degrees of social isolation and confinement) who suddenly finds himself transported to another world on his way home from the convenience store.
Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world.
