Skills

Skill 1: One for All
Activates at the start of Full Burst. Affects all allies who previously cast their Burst Skills.
ATK ▲ 64.51% of caster’s ATK for 15 sec.
Reloading Speed ▲ 44.35% for 15 sec
Affects all allies who did not previously cast their Burst Skills.
DEF ▲ 37.44% of caster’s DEF for 15 sec.
Reloading Speed ▲ 44.35% for I5 sec.
Absolutely MEATY skill (well, everything in her kit is absolutely busted). High ATK buffs for 15s, which is full uptime for B1 and BII supports but around 60%~ for Burst III’s that burst because of 40s Cool down.
Since Def attack is only 0.66x of an attacker on equal investment dupes, realistically this buff would be around 42%, which is still definitely huge. Her reload speed buff is also extremely neat, especially when paired with reload teams (Privaty team). Crown is one of the very rare Nikkes that increase team reload speed (Privaty, Admi, Anis: Sparkling Summer). This allows better team building, and early game instant reload teams. Reload speed above 100% allows for instant reloads, which can benefit reload reliant Nikkes such as Scarlet and Modernia.
Def is pretty useless but, it is high enough where it might provide a whooping (3%~) damage reduction for the team.
Skill 2: Royal Attire
Activates after 43 normal attack(s).Affects self.
Relax: HP Potency ▲ 4.06% continuously. stacks up to 20 time(s).
Activates when Relax is fully stacked. Affects self after the stacks are removed.
Invulnerable for 5 sec.
Attract: Taunt all enemies for 5 sec.
Recovers 5.23% of the caster’s final Max HP as HP
Activates when recovery takes effect Affects all allies.
Attack Damage ▲ 20.99% for 7 sec.
A pretty nifty skill. But first, lets get into the fire rate of MG/s to properly explain this skill
MG’s have a fire rate of 60/s, and can be lower depending on frame rate. As lower frame rate results in lower firing speed.
At consistent 60 FPS, and with enough ammo, she’s able to proc her “relax” state every 14s~. Her taunt will realistically last around 7 ish seconds due to “lingering effects”, but her invincibility does not share this.
Her HP Potency will max out at 81.2%, which will also directly improve her self healing. Crown will heal herself for 9.4%~ every 14s~, which isn’t the greatest healing, but her skill also improves incoming healing from other Nikkes as well, not to mention that she has invulnerability on herself for around 1/3’rd uptime, which might be able to allow her to self sustain in some boss fights.
Her recovery effect that increases ATK Damage ONLY takes effect if healing is targeting CROWN or her skill 2 self proc occurs. group healing does NOT proc this skill, or so that’s said from the skill description. Group healing still manages to proc the skill, via life stealing or pure healing. It is unsure what is meant from this skill and more testing will be done.

Burst: Last Kingdom
Affects all allies.
Attack Damage ▲ 36.24% for 15 sec.
Creates a Shield equal to 10.45% of the caster’s final Max HP for I5 sec.
Simple. But extremely powerful burst. Basically a permanent attack damage buff as Crown has a unique 15s buff as opposed of 5s or 10s.
Crown’s shields may be rather “small” but any shield is enough to protect a Nikke from fatal damage once. Her Shield works similarly to Tia, and will proc skills that Tia also procs (Naga)
Campaign
Crown has an extremely interesting case use scenario. In fact, she may be part of the BEST campaign clearing team as of right now. Just because of her massive buffs being tied to only one character, not only that, she can take advantage of another extremely meta burst II Nikke, which is Naga.
Crown can proc Naga’s skill 2 passive, which is an amazing buff for the meta sniper Nikkes and Modernia. Not only that, she has 5s invulnerability taunt, which can be heavily utilized in boss waves. Although she may proc taunt in unwanted times, DPS should be more than plenty to take care of waves that might attack her prior to target wave. it also helps that crown can still stack her skill two by shooting into AIR, which would make proc’ing her invulnerability and skill 2 damage up much easier prior to boss wave
Crown would replace Tia in campaign clearing teams due to her buffs being simply much better.
Crown/Naga Team (Liter BI Variant)
Expected to be the general meta team for crown. Insane damage and versatility. Modernia can be replaced with Alice
Crowns Burst will always be a priority to use over Naga, as Naga’s most wanted buffs are tied to her skill 1 and 2 passives.
Crown/Naga Team (Solo Red Hood Burst I)
Veterans and leaderboard clearers are expected to use this team in campaign. Despite being a solo burst I, thanks to Red hoods refresh on CD, 3 full burst rotations should be rather possible and smooth using this team.
for more details, check this section for Red hood for better understanding of this play style
Generalist Team
A more traditional 1-1-3 team burst formation. This enables instant reloads for Modernia and Scarlet when using the resilience cube on them. Crown can still take advantage of her recovery effect by abusing shooting into air to get stacks prior to final rapture wave.
Liter can be substituted for Red hood for burst generation and bigger attack buff if needed.
B III replacements will be your preferred DPS’s.
Arena
MGs need a really good kit to be viable in PvP, due to almost nonexistant burst gen, getting deleted by Scarlet and walled by Emma and Diesel, but Crown’s kit may just be strong enough to function despite all of these drawbacks.
The invulnerability with taunt would be good if it wasn’t locked behind 30 seconds of non-stop shooting in Arena. Her buffing capabilities, however, look very promising: up to 57% of Attack Damage if you run a healer, a shield and extra Attack to every ally that used their Burst, so she can find use on nuke teams as a better Blanc buffer as long as you don’t need Blanc’s indom.
For Defense, she has a lot of drawbacks, but Biscuit can allow her to live for long enough to use her burst, even if facing a Scarlet. This will need some proper testing to see if people can find Defense comps where she’s viable.
Overall, she looks promising despite being an MG, and is yet another unit to keep the theorycrafters busy
Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid
Special Interception
Despite having no healing, Crown is still be able to be an extremely solid pick against most bosses. With the only boss she might not be able to manage alone being blacksmith. She would need a pseudo healer to be able to survive a full round with it. and to a much lesser extent, Modernia.
Otherwise, Crown should be able to demolish all other Special interception bosses due to the massive DPS buffs she’s able to provide. Crown is also extremely friendly early game (If the user has Scarlet/Privaty/Other DPS pilgrims) Due to her reload speed buff. Pair her with Privaty and most of the drawbacks of those reload reliant characters are completely GONE without needing overloaded gear/end game gear.
Crown/Naga team
Similarly to campaign, this team can easily be used for special interception as well.
Burst I Replacements: Dorothy, Any CDR
Burst III replacements: Alice, Scarlet, Any of your preferred DPS
Solo Raid | Union Raid
Crown capabilities herself can out support the bunny duo ALONE. This easily makes her team 2, slightly below Tia Naga team if there is a core to take advantage of. Otherwise, Crown would be similar or slightly better.
She’d fit mostly into Dorothy teams due to her ability to buff Dorothy’s Burst via attack buff. however her ATK damage up is still unable to. Depending on the fight, the player may not need to run a healer if the player can micromanage well, and how oppressive the boss is. This is due to her taunting ability, invulnerability, and full team shields (More useful than you think)
Her team will need a burst generator, Sniper rifles such as Maxwell, Alice, Red hood or Rocket launchers. More testing would be needed to solidify her raid team / add more possible teams
Infinite Reload Team (Dorothy)
Possible BIII Pairs:
- Scarlet: Black Shadow, Alice
- Maxwell, Modernia (Modernia does not Burst)
- Snow white, Maxwell (If boss has many parts)
- Preferred DPS’s
As mentioned earlier, Pairing Priv with Crown and Resilience cubes will enables infinite uptime teams on burst. Visual example should explain everything.
Should yo– Yes, you should pull.
Pull. Don’t brick your account, have at least one of her. She’s pretty much the best Burst II Nikke as of right now. Don’t even wait for full review (I will still do it anyways)
You know what, Pull her future Costume gacha skin too.
MLB is not very needed as a most of her damage buffs are from skill 2 and burst as a f2p, which are not scaled from her stats. she is not very dupe reliant, and is PERFECTLY fine at 1 copy. However whales and dolphins are very free to MLB+ her anyways
P.S DO NOT OVERLOAD HER FOR NOW, specifically when wanting to pair her with Naga teams. She won’t lose much value if not OL’d. This is because Naga is unable to heal her consistently due to her not having the “lowest” value HP if everyone is at full health. This shouldn’t be an issue in solo raids, but might be gimp/nerf when using her in normal boss fights (depending). More thoughts will be put on this topic in the full review. If not using her with Naga teams, feel free to OL Helmet/Gloves.
Expected Ratings
Rather rough estimations of ratings for Crown.
| Category | Rating |
| Overall | SSS |
| Story | SSS |
| Bosses | SSS |
| Arena | A-S~ |
Skill Priority (Expected)
| Nikke | Budget Skill Investments | Recommended Skill Investments | Skill Priority | Notes | Investment Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Crown | Skill 1: 7 Skill 2 : 7 Burst : 7 | Skill 1: 10 Skill 2 : 10 Burst : 10 | S1 = S2 | Skill 1 Offers More DPS gains generally However Skill 2 offers more utility and self sustainability. It is up to the Commander to choose what to raise first. Burst is basically just a big DPS buff, with a very nice team shield. | Highest |

Who is bursting in the meta campaign team? Naga or Crown? Also is there any idea for skill priorities? Ty!
S1 > S2 for DPS
S2 > S1 for utility, sustainability.
Burst uses different mats, however her burst is the strongest tool in her kit
Also, Crown would always want to burst in crown/naga team
Skill priorities should be updated soon, knowing this website. As for who’s bursting, then it needs to be Crown since that’s the only way for her to give shields to Naga, which would proc Naga’s passive to grant core dmg buff for the team.
I had an update up and going actually
I just legit forgot to publish it
Thanks for reminding me lmao
Hi Lia you need to burst always with Crown not Naga and for the skill priorities all are the same if you can make them 10-10-10 or at least 7-7-7
She’s crazy, she’s OP, love Crown.
It kind of breaks my heart she completely hammers down on almost all B2 options, then again we’ll all pull for her.
Yeah, I hear you. It kinda sucks there are some Nikkes that simply powercreep so hard all others that makes them obsolete, like Red Hood.
We need content that forces us to use more diverse teams. I’m not saying going full Epic7 with ten thousand things to grind and bosses so every character has a niche, but at least some weekly bosses you are locked into certain elements or other restrictions.
it’s starting to get silly with many new Nikkes being almost useless on release.
Huh? We have solo raid and union raid where you have to use 5 and 3 teams. Isn’t that enough for you? lol
I was going to say lol.
Lol bunnies once again goes down the tier list, how broken can you be to out buff 2 units by yourself? Glad I got her on my first 10 pull, she’s too op to pass up. Also, Infinite reload team section has missing icons. I’ll only wait for the full guide for the skill levels, rating, and cube
Aren’t the bunnies only used for bosses with parts? Are you saying Crown’s atk scaling is better than dmg to parts bonuses the bunnies have?
Damage to Interruption parts, those red circles qte, and damage taken buff. You get those with bunnies, but Crown offers insane atk buffs and reload speed, which is on a single unit. This free ups one more slot for more dps, which means faster clear times before you get killed in one hit in campaign, or other buffers too
Oh pfft I thought that was parts damage so I’ve been using them on bosses where a core is not present. Yeah again, it’s heartbreaking to see both the twins (School girls and bunnies) tactics go out the window. Tia is even separated from Naga, how unholy.
I just got 1 Laplace in 270 pulls totally worth it!!
Pretty sure she’s best WOMAN, not girl
I’m more of a woman enjoyer myself
I made some tests, and here is my rating of teams by damage in conditions similar to the story (Fire/Wind weak stage in Union Raid):
1. Crown, Dorothy, Red Hood, Black Scarlet, Modernia (I was surprised that this team did much more damage than with Liter)
2. Crown, Liter, Red Hood, Black Scarlet, Modernia
3. Crown, Dorothy, Naga, Red Hood, Black Scarlet
4. Crown, Liter, Naga, Red Hood, Black Scarlet
Other permutations like Modernia instead of Black Scarlet showed lower results.
So classic 1-1-3 better than 1-2-2, perhaps in other conditions it will be different.
Of course, I compared it with Tia+Naga team, but Crown totally overpowered Tia, completely replaces her.
Well, Crown best B2, one copy is enough to overpower others b2 nikkes even if they are have more than 1 copy, even if they are have 3 stars.
Do not understand how can team with Dorothy do much more dmg then with Liter…
idk tbh, checked this several times
Probably because Liter and Crown buffs will dilute, they give too much atk buff that any more % gives less and less actual atk stat. Plus, Dorothy herself deals significant damage from her burst when fully stacked, now do that with 2 – 3 rotations
Update: in long batlle Liter better than Dorothy, probably..
So any overload stat recommendations? im struggling with that part a lot
Max ammo required
So basically liter and crown will now be a staple in creating any team. I think the devs screwed up big time with those numbers
Yeah she’s way too insane, she alone is better than bunny pair, maybe makes up for all the worthless nikke’s meta wise we’ve gotten after Black Shadow.
I’m also confused by the healing requirements of Skill 2’s buff. Will you be including a list of healers that work with her when you release the formal guide?
so if I already overloaded most of her gear is the Naga team strat useless or is it not that big of a deal
They said they’re gonna fix it in an upcoming patch so don’t worry about it
just wanted to brag, FIRST F***IN’ PULL! HAHA!
To our credit, this game’s gacha is incredibly easy. Everyone has good characters.
True enough, just never had a first pull before. xD
Congrats though 👍
gonna brag even harder, got her on the first FREE once per day pull
Just started playing the game out of boredom, got 4 crowns and 1 Maiden in 80 pulls, not familliar with this gacha system yet but I think it’s insanely lucky
I get that once in a while new nikke is stronger than the others but this is just insane and disgusting, or rather terrible game design. Numbers are out of place and devs went to a point where new release nikke is stronger than anything else before by a lot, you gonna question yourself whats next, they will do the same again and again in the future, making 95% of other nikke completely useless.
I mean what do i expect, either they rebalance old nikkes with would take a lot of effort and no money or they just make new one that is overpowered as hell and make money, anwser is simple, but game design nonetheless is disgusting. Then again its gacha game.
“New release nikke is stronger than anything else before” bro is playing since yesterday. To be blunt about it, aside from collabs/pilgrims, normal release nikkes, which can be wish listed after their patch, is either totally sh*t, or incredible niche that they’re used for one specific team only, and they’re not even the best. The last time we had an OP non-limited nikke is school girls, the next units released are just niche. They only made RH op because they showed that she was op, but released her as balanced, so community spoke up. Other pilgrim banners are just strong on their own; Dorothy, Modernia, SBS, and now Crown. Same situations with some collab/limited units like SAnis, Winter Ludmilla, and Re:Zero. And there’s not a lot of “new unit = meta” situation for Nikke, the only meta defining units they released are RH, school girls, bunnies, Alice, and maybe SBS. Other meta units are available via wishlist. Now I understand your point, you’ve only played the game yesterday, so you won’t know that you’ll eventually get the important units as you play more. Maybe try to play for a month first before crying about the meta when you’re still at Chapter 0 campaign and the strongest nikke you have is Product 08
Yap central. And the last good unit we had that wasn’t anniversary or collab was killer wife D btw
I dont even know is it worth replying since you probably wont read it but nice one, i like you try to bash random people that they play game for 1 month cus they criticise your favorite waifu game. And yeah, im around 450level having almost every nikke that is available, guess i will try to play for a month first xD
Do you guys not do solo/union raid or something? Having more strong/”broken” units just mean that I have more options in building multiple strong teams for raid.
A lot of people complained about RH not being as strong as they hoped, and when they made her what she is now, celebrations far outnumber concerns over power creep, and I think Shift Up basically took it as “Anniversary/mid-Anniversary Pilgrim must be OP” and gave what, perhaps the majority want.
I benefited from RH, and will also benefit from Crown (though I will try my luck with the free pulls first), so it works for me either way, but I must say that the majority of must-have characters ends up being Pilgrim, it will definitely suck for new players who miss the banners.
Also, I hope they don’t abuse this further by doing this more often than anniversary/half-anniversary.
This post was meant to be a reply under timmy’s post.
They also lowered % chance to pull off nikke if im not mistaken. Now its 1% chance (used to be 2%) to get crown per ticket, so in theory you get her once 100 pulls. Im saying that cus i did already 80 tickets and didnt get anything. Devs are clearly getting greedier in milking players, dont get me wrong game is very playable as free to play experience (as i do) but you can see clear change in behavior. Lets make giga overpowered nikke > give her very low chance to pull off > profit.
It always was 1% for pilgrim rate-ups from the start, which was Dorothy’s banner.
Oops, I meant Modernia’s.
Yeeeeah you were mistaken. Pilgrim banners have always been 1% rate. Gacha games milking the fan base is just what gacha games do, not saying it’s correct or ethical or whatnot, not gonna get into that argument. Just vote with your wallet.
What I don’t like is you seem to not have a full understanding of the whole landscape, but then trying to weirdly bash/hate on it with the wrong context and facts.
Definitely this is way TOO STRONG! It kinda sucks for new players because they didn’t rerun dorothy which probably means no RH rerun on anniversary and no Crown rerun next year, well people ate underwheming units and now Crown is beyond ridiculous.
70 pulls in and still no Crown- my god. ill end up buying her from store lol
also almost 2 years into this game and still no Modernia :’)
Got her on my 20th pull, very lucky honestly. What I’m scared about is between naga burst and littler and her, which would be the best buffer, also her damage buffing lower than both at times. I’m using Privaty and Snow White as my attacker, but i’m not getting the results that i was expecting. Could be that there are other issues i’m not expecting honestly
if you need hypercarry Snow White you want use Maxwell/Miranda/Anne/Yulha with her
Looks like they plan to fix the Naga bug, as mentioned in the updated April 25 notice in-game. Yay!
Btw how exactly do I use that red hood team? When target rapture appears, do I use RH on burst 1 instead of liter?
Should I go for more cores? I really want her to be stronger but I also want to save for summer event
Really hard to justify cores, mlb is fine if you really love Crown, but cores? Unless it’s core 7 for bragging rights, it’s a waste in my opinion
