Auto Play vs Manual Play
Before getting into skills, it is important to know that Trony heavily prefers Manual Play over Auto play. Spam shooting has greater DPS yields than auto play in almost every charge weapon. It may look like her skills benefits more on purely full charge gameplay, but that is not the case.
Skills

Skill 1: T.Rony Bomber
Activates when hitting the target with Full Charge. Affects the target if there are
no enemies in T.Rony Bomber status.
Cumulative Damage Skill for 5 sec.
Function: Accumulates part of damage inflicted by the caster
Upon reaching the maximum accumulated damage, deal damage to enemies before ending.
Effect 1:Maximum Accumulated Damage is 1536% of the caster’s final ATK
Effect 2:Accumulates 50% of damage dealt by self.
Effect 3:Deals distributed damage to all nearby enemies upon reaching the maximum
accumulated damage.
A few things to note when looking at this skill:
- Function works like a “brand”, and the brand will only accumulate damage that is dealt by Caster (herself), at a 50% Ratio.
- her skill works similarly to Dorothy, only ATK up and Distributed Damage up can increase her skill 1 damage cap. Damage up and other sources of buffs should not affect her brand damage
- There can’t be more than one brand on screen at a time.
- A full charge shot is needed to proc her brand. however any type of shooting (spam shooting, full auto shooting) can “fill” her brand
A bit of an odd skill. Her damage potentially gets around a 50% boost, slightly variating if it procs early or not. Upgrading her skill 1 only affects how much accumulated damage the brand can have, which is rather useful in manual play and preventing damage “overflow”, as damage exceeding 100% is not accounted for
Trony can fill her brand faster by spam shooting instead of always full charging shots assuming there’s enough ammo. visual reference below:
Skill 2: Efficiency Increase
Activates when attacking with Full Charge for 5 time(s).Affects self.
Distributed Damage โฒ 51.84% for 10 sec
Activates when hitting the target with Full Charge for 5 time(s).Affects the target.
DEF V 9.59% for 10 sec.
Distributed Damage does NOT increase the final damage of her skill 1 pop directly, it only increases the cap. which, again, is useful under manual play due to less time needing to do charge shots to proc her skill 1.
If distributed damage buff is applied when brand is already active, the buff still applies and respectively increases the current brand’s damage ceiling
Video below shows that the brand goes to 90% > 77% when her skill 2 procs, indicating that distributed damage increases the brand cap, and not the actual damage dealt when it “pops” (pretty bad)
Def down debuff values are too little to make any meaningful damage increases (2%~ ATK boost for team)
Burst: Mega T.Rony
Affects self.
ATK A 101.37% for 10 sec.
Accumulated damage ratio of the Cumulative Damage Skill โฒ 62.83% for 10 sec.
Straight-forward skill. A very high ATK up on her basic attacks and accumulation of her brand, which does offer a big boost to overall DPS. She absolutely wants to burst in the team otherwise Trony would not be able to do respectable damage
The accumulation rate buff is additive to her skill 1 (Which is good in this case) it’s as follows:
50% + 62.83% = 112.83% of damage converted.
Instead of
50% x 1.62 = 81% of damage converted.
Campaign
Rather OK performance in Campaign. Her distributed damage range radius is rather small which means that her damage will be rarely diluted. and can deal decent damage against elites and target raptures. But that’s about it.
Arena
Absolutely useless and offers nothing in Arena.
Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid
Where Trony is mostly used, against bosses. She’s able to deal decent damage against bosses under auto play, and pretty good damage when playing her manually. However she does prefer reload teams for her damage to be competitive
She isn’t nearly as good as most Pilgrim DPS’s, but can output enough for new players for people that lack them. mostly, only her burst needs to be invested for her damage output to increase. She may have a spot for fire weak element raids, but she would need good overload rolls, and will not have much of an impact if ever.
Reload Team
Basically she wants reload buffers, attack damage boosters or damage taken debuffers. ATK boosts are less effective due to her massive ATK buff on her burst

- Burst 2 Replacements: Admi, Blanc + Noir, Naga + Tia
Strengths
- Can deal Decent/Good Single target damage
- Can do single target damage a bit higher than her current given tier if invested enough and with the ideal teams
- Rather unique Manual Playstyle
Weaknesses
- Offers nothing utility wise
- Has no content/Niche on where she can be strong
- Relies heavily on certain team comps (Reload speed comps, ATK buffs don’t work too well on her)
- Feet
Recommended Harmony Cubes

- Resilience – Any team that has reload speed buffers
- Bastion – If no more resilience cube slots
You Shouldn’t pull
She is an OK Nikke, but not worth using any tickets for. Summer Event is nearby and has the potential to offer much better Nikkes. And even if there’s no good new summer Nikkes, most likely there will be a re-run of Summer Anis, a great Nikke that withstood the trials of powercreep and time.

I love Trony
I’m just remembering how, when Red Hood first came out, she was only good for a 2 Burst, but even then she needed a specific team. Then they buffed her, and she’s now clapping everybody’s cheeks. Here’s hoping that Trony gets some buffs to make her more than the Nikke with an OnlyFans.
But red hood is anni unit, and a pilgrim. I don’t think shift up gonna buff trony any soon sadly
brother did her dirty,… the feet are the biggest strength and she’s a must get if you have a cultured soul!
top tier Nikke when it comes to design and appeal
Elegg’s burst has the same text than Trony S2 but it doesn’t increase her brand cap. Looks like the latter doesn’t work as intended.
