Skills
Skill 1: T.Rony Bomber
Activates when hitting the target with Full Charge. Affects the target if there are
no enemies in T.Rony Bomber status.
Cumulative Damage Skill for 5 sec.
Function: Accumulates part of damage inflicted by the caster
Upon reaching the maximum accumulated damage, deal damage to enemies before ending.
Effect 1:Maximum Accumulated Damage is 1536% of the caster’s final ATK
Effect 2:Accumulates 50% of damage dealt by self.
Effect 3:Deals distributed damage to all nearby enemies upon reaching the maximum
accumulated damage.
A few things to note when looking at this skill:
- Function works like a “brand”, and the brand will only accumulate damage that is dealt by Caster (herself), at a 50% Ratio.
- If her skill works similarly to Dorothy, only ATK up and Distributed Damage up can increase her skill 1 damage cap. Damage up and other sources of buffs should not affect her brand damage
- There can’t be more than one brand on screen at a time.
A bit of an odd skill. Her damage potentially gets around a 50% boost, whether if it procs early or not. And if skill upgrades only effects her effect 1, then upgrading this skill would be close to useless.

Distributed Damage ▲ 51.84% for 10 sec
Activates when hitting the target with Full Charge for 5 time(s).Affects the target.
DEF V 9.59% for 10 sec.
If we’re under the assumption that this skill works similarly to Dorothy. This skill is practically useless as it would only increase the cap/ceiling of the brand, not the actual damage. Nor does it increase brand accumulation rate.
However, if Trony works differently than Dorothy and is an actual damage increase instead, then this skill would be actually worthwhile.
Burst: Mega T.Rony
Affects self.
ATK A 101.37% for 10 sec.
Accumulated damage ratio of the Cumulative Damage Skill ▲ 62.83% for 10 sec.
Straight-forward skill. A very high ATK up on her basic attacks and accumulation of her brand, which does offer a big boost to overall DPS. She absolutely wants to burst in the team otherwise Trony would not be able to do respectable damage
Campaign
Utterly bad. Don’t even think about using her. Distributed damage values are low, and will barely tickle mobs, even at lower CP deficits. Outside her distributed damage, she virtually offers nothing else.
Arena
Absolutely no scenario where the Commander would use Trony at all in PvP teams.
Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid
Where Trony is mostly used, against bosses. She’s able to deal decent damage against solo targets, and that’s about it. She offers no other utility. Trony is definitely a good option to use if the player doesn’t have any of the meta Pilgrim DPS’s and will do her job as a boss killer decently well, but she doesn’t shake up any meta at all unless her skills work differently from what I expect.
Closing Thoughts
Despite looking like her skills have good % values, it’s simply not great as all her damage are directly corelated on her auto attacks, which sniper auto attacks are particularly not great. This usually is mitigated by spamming sniper rifle shots, but her kit requires her full charge her shots. Trony is still a rather decent boss killer when not comparing her to Pilgrims.
A lack luster Nikke right after Anniversary, which is understandable. The good news about her is that newer players have a decent DPS (Compared to non-pilgrims) to pull from in wishlist if needed. Opinion may slightly change if her skill 2 works differently than expected.

Welp my usual 10x pull on a new character yielded me 2x Trony. Apart from her funny and introverted/cute personality, it would be my luck that I get a dupe on a unit that seems pretty bad. Why couldn’t this happen to me for Crown :l
