Overview
- Scarlet Buffer / Has very strong future use cases if a stronger electric AR Nikke gets released
- Expected to be very meta in PvP due to synergy with Scarlet while also providing amazing burst generation
- Strong healing with decent buffs without the need of a duo, meaning three dedicated DPSs can be slotted in a team without any issues in most battles
- Extremely strong buffer for bursts that have “affect all enemies” and “as burst skill damage” in the skill description
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Trina is a good universal supporter and a great electric (rifle) buffer, and an amazing nuke buffer. She has a lot of potential to be one of the meta buffers when we get more viable electric rifle buffers as currently we only have Scarlet (PvP/PvE) and Moran (PvP) as our notable electric Assault rifle units.
Trina can sustain most teams alone as long as the target rapture doesn’t deal heavy nuke damage as a lot of healing procs when Nikke HP is low (below 30%). Her buffs aren’t as good as any of the duos (Blanc/Rouge/Noir, Tia/Naga, Anchor/Mast) or any of the Pilgrim buffers currently (Crown/Grave). But Trina can be used alone, which means the Commander can slot in a third DPS in their team against most bosses. This sounds great but we only have a select amount of sub-dps’s in our Nikke roster that can do damage without bursting. Those Nikkes being Modernia, Scarlet (Pilgrims), Ludmilla: Winter Owner (Limited), Maiden Ice rose (Limited/Save all MP till last full burst), and to an extent, Phantom.
Trina does have amazing potential in PvP due to her being able to buff one of the strongest PvP Nikkes in the game (Scarlet) while also providing good burst generation. Her buff allows Scarlet to wipe out all teams except Noah/Invulnerability teams, while also protecting her from being taken out too early.

Normal Attack Information
Trina has amazing burst generation due to being a Clip RL. this heavily affects PvP placement and to an extent campaign placement.

Skill 1: Nature’s Grace
Activates after Full Burst ends. Affects all allies.
Constantly recovers 4.06% of caster’s final Max HP every 1 sec for 5 sec.
Activates when attacking with Full Charge. Affects the target(s) if the HP of 2 ally unit(s) with the lowest HP percentage is lower than 30%.
Recovers 2.03% of caster’s final Max HP as HP.
Activates when attacking with Full Charge. Affects the target(s) if the HP of 2 ally unit(s) with the lowest HP percentage is lower than 50%
Recovers 1.57% of caster’s final Max HP as HP.
Good healing if the target Nikkes are above 50% HP, Great Constant healing if HP is below 50%. Trina’s healing procs should be additive of each other if the target Nikkes are below 30%. As long as the enemy doesn’t deal single target nukes, Trina should be able to out heal all constant damage in boss battles.
Skill 2: Peaceful Tree
Activates at the start of battle only if self survives. Affects all Electric Code allies with rifles.
Max HP ▲ 44.98% of the caster’s Max HP without restoring HP constantly
Activates at the start of battle. Affects I Electric Code ally unit(s) with rifles on the leftmost side of the squad.
Invulnerable for 2 sec.
Activates when using Burst Skill. Affects 1 Electric Code ally unit(s) with rifles on the leftmost side of the squad.
Attack Damage ▲ 94.15% for 10 sec.
Reloading Speed ▲ 50.82% for 10 sec.
There are very little Nikkes that can take advantage of this skill.
Scarlet being the most notable one. the most leftmost electric AR Nikke will get this buff if there are more than one in the squad, otherwise the buff will be applied in any spot. This skill would allow Scarlet to at least survive hits until she bursts in PvP due to the 2 second invulnerability if put in position 1.
Despite the insane buffs this skill has for Scarlet, she still won’t reach the DPS of the likes of Scarlet: Black Shadow, Cinderella, or Asuka: Wille. But she definitely becomes a strong Single target DPS competitor, being able to compete with Nikkes a tier below mentioned characters.
Note: Rifles stated in this skill refer to Assault Rifles only.
Burst: Mother Forest
Affects all allies.
Max HP ▲ 20.14% of the caster’s Max HP without restoring HP for 10 sec.
Attack Damage ▲ 20.9% for 10 sec.
Activates when enemy count aside from Nikkes is 1. Affects all allies.
Spread Roots: Burst Skill damage of skills with “Affects all enemies” ▲ 435.6% for 5 sec.
Activates when enemy count aside from Nikkes is more than 2. Affects all allies.
Changes Spread Roots to Wilted Roots.
Wilted Roots: Burst Skill damage of skills with “Affects all enemies” ▲ 64.46% for 5 sec.
Affects all Electric Code allies with rifles.
Hit Rate ▲ 45.3% for I0 sec.
Max Ammunition Capacity ▲ 20 round(s) for 10 sec.
A excellent skill for characters like Scarlet and etc. Jackal has a similar buff and it is known to be multiplicative (Attack Damage Bracket). Which means characters with high burst values benefit massively from this buff in Campaign and in Boss battles. This allows irrelevant Nikkes to be viable nukers in Campaign
She also does give a hit rate buff. Scarlet with 3-4x hit rate lines and Trina’s hit rate buff would be able to hit cores somewhat consistently at long distances, which greatly improves her DPS potential.
Note: Trina does NOT buff Nikkes that DON’T have the tag “Burst Skill Damage” descriptors. Which means Nikkes that do have “affects all enemies” but DON’T have “burst skill damage” will not be buffed. example, Quency: Escape Queen and Phantom

Campaign
Trina has a niche spot in electric weak content. She’s best in slot for Scarlet and other nuking teams alike. Her burst skill buffing values do get greatly reduced when there’s more than 2 enemies, but it’s still enough to raise the ceiling potential of a already strong team archetype in Campaign.
Electric Weak Content
Element Neutral Double Nuke
Arena
Trina is a Clip RL. If you are a PvP player, that is really all you need to know to make her a MUST PULL PVP UNIT. If you aren’t a veteran, this means she is automatically one of the best units to use in this game mode due to the very high burst generation she provides. But she isn’t just any Clip RL. She buffs the best B3 in PvP, Scarlet, with an insane 115% attack damage buff! She also provides invulnerability to her for 2 seconds!!
This can open a lot of very fast 2RL~2.5RL jackal-less team compositions for Scarlet, which is an insane thing due to how big of an asset Jackal can be to any other team. Look forward to our Trina PVP guide!
2 RL Burst Team
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
Trina has a strong niche, and that is in electric weak raids. She is a relatively “cheap” option and can buff one of the weaker electric based teams by a good margin. That is the Scarlet team. a decent addition to the already strong electric roster.
Glass Slipper (Electric Weak)
Not the best team for Glass Mirror due to the insane damage potential Cinderella has, but definitely viable.
Anis: Sparkling Summer can be replaced with Maiden: Ice Rose or Crown. When using Crown, use her burst when bursting with Ein.
Rapi: Red Hood can be replaced with any CDR
Strengths
- Insane buff values for “affect all” burst nukes, making a lot of nuke Nikkes viable/more competitive
- Trina has healing strong enough to sustain teams by herself in most boss fights
- decent universal buffs
- Amazing burst Generation for PvP lovers
Weaknesses
- There are much better buffers for teams that are outside her niche (not electric/no “affect all” burst skills)
- Trina’s Burst does not affect skills that have do not have “Burst skill damage” despite affecting all enemies, heavily affecting her bossing rating as there are good nuke Nikkes such as Quency: Escape Queen and Phantom that deal massive “affect all enemy” burst skills.
Should You Pull?
If you care about PvP, yes. Otherwise there aren’t enough Nikkes to take advantage of her Niche. She does have good universal buffs but there are many other Nikkes/duos that can do the same but better.
Her burst buffing very select Nikkes also hurts her bossing value as currently only 2 viable Nikkes can take advantage of it currently, and that is Scarlet and Rei Ayanami: (Tentative Name).
Annivery 2.5 is also near, if PvP lovers do want to pull for her, make sure to save your mileage tickets. Dupes are not needed for her at all.

Thanks for the amazing article as usual Valkkin.
I just wanted to point out that Trina’s icon isn’t working <3
Good review just in time. Waiting for the PvP guide
I find it a bit vague that Skill 2 says it affects “rifles”. Maybe it would be possible that it also affects Sniper Rifles? Like Ein or Harran, for example…
Anyway, nothing short of an excellent guide, thanks!
Not vague at all, just very specific and niche. It doesn’t work with SRs, just ARs, just like the skill says
Noberto has a point, the skill is vague: the text only says “rifles”, not “automatic rifles”. Now if Valkkin was able to test it and knows for a fact that “sniper rifles” are excluded, then that’s fine, otherwise the question is a valid one.
Clarified this bit. I believe it was a translation issue from JP -> EN from the official kit itself, hence the vagueness.
To restate it here, it only works on Assault Rifle Nikkes.
Understandable, translating JP can be very tricky. Thank you very much for clarifying and for the dedication to the community!
From the brief bit of testing I did, I noticed that Trina’s attack damage and burst damage buffs are in the same category, they’re “multiplicative” but not multiplicative to each other. They are instead additive to each other. It still leads to about a 6.5x buff (instead of ~9x buff) to scarlets burst on a single target boss, and the combination of s2 and burst skill will make scarlets regular auto-attacks hit very hard, smooth out her uptime during burst, and generally make her much better able to hit core.
In content where enemies have a core, she’ll be very good.
