Episode 1:
Tove makes a call to the Commander, telling him about how her days with the unlimited squad. She was proud as being a part of the squad but feels like their methods are oversimplified and mostly relies on luck. She begins to make a vlog about the usual routine in the northern base, hoping for the Commander to help solving her problems.
Episode 2:
Tove and the Commander finally meets at the Northern Base. Tove wants the Commander to go on a mission with them and help her to persuade the squad to fix their methods. Few days later, the squad finally went on an investigation mission. While on their way to the scene, a frozen river was in front of them. Tove attempts to persuade them to let her modify the member’s equipments in order to cross the frozen river safely. However, it fails as the three manages to cross the river with their usual primitive methods.
Episode 3:
Tove plans to prepare the necessary tools that they need and hand it to the squad when the time comes. Tove considers that they might need something to deal with the extreme cold and starts to work from there. The next morning, Ludmilla found out that the emergency rations were already eaten by Alice. Tove attempts to make food for the squad by setting a campfire. However, the fire kept on getting extinguished. So, the three decides to look for food themselves and is successfully able to do so. Tove is in such disbelief that she hurls the torch to the ground.
Episode 4:
Tove is thinking of giving up as a survival expert. The Commander asks if she thinks that she let her squadmates do the things they usually do, to which she rejects as she thinks that it will not be good for her and her squadmates. The Commander then tells Tove to just do what she usually does, and use it to prove that she is capable of saving people. Some time later, the squad managed to find one nikke lying on the ground. The squad attempts to save the near-dying nikke, but the three concludes that she will soon die from her brain getting frozen. The Commander asks Tove if there’s anything that she has from her backpack, and manages to get one.
Episode 5:
Tove had a leather cape filled with a thick fur in her backpack and uses it to carefully wrap the nikke with it. She also has hot water for the nikke to drink. In order to bring her back to the base safely, she also made an improvised stretcher for cases like this. Meanwhile, Tove didn’t realize that she is already able to convince her squadmate to use her methods. For Ludmilla, while it may be inefficient for her liking, it will definitely be useful to save people. Ludmilla hopes for Tove to continue using her skills to make up for what the squad has been missing.
As the Commander returns to the Ark, Tove made another video message for the Commander. In her message, she mentions about how her relationship with her squad has been improving, and hopes that the Commander can help her again when she needs one. She also mentions about the Commander being her mentor and feels like they also share a deeper connection than before.
