Note: This was made before the release of Tia. Yes, I know Naga analysis isn’t up yet. Wanted to use them both in a team before fully analyzing her. Both Analysis will be up soon.

Skills
Note: Assume all skills are level 10

Skill 1: Reptile Lover
■ Activates when recovering Cover’s HP. Affects self.
Cooldown of Burst Skill ▼ 13 sec, stacks up to 2 time(s) and lasts for 12 sec.
■ Activates when recovering Cover’s HP. Affects all allies.
Attack damage ▲ 32.11% for 10 sec.
Her S1 provide self cooldown reduction to help her fit into normal team comps as her burst has a 40s cooldown. However it is tied to cover recovery which must happen within a 12 second window. This means Tia will require Naga in order to consistently burst every cycle as the other Cover Repair options are Liter and Cocoa who has a 15s cooldown. Her Self CDR reaches 13s at Lv7, dropping her Burst cooldown to 14 seconds, coupled with a team-wide B1 CDR will help Tia’s cooldown behave like the usual 20s B1 burst
The second effect which also triggers based off cover repair provides a sizeable damage buff. Attack Damage ▲ is different from ATK ▲ as it contributes to a different bracket within the damage formula. Attack Damage ▲ is much more effective compared to the usual ATK ▲. This buff has almost full uptime thanks to Naga’s Cover Repair from S1 which happens roughly every ~10s
Note: Her S1 relies on Cover Repair which isn’t triggered by Cover Rebuilt (Biscuit’s Burst) or her own S2 (Cover’s Max HP ▲). If Tia ever loses her cover, her S1 will never be activated. This will be an issue when pushing campaign with large CP deficits as her cover will most likely break due to self-taunt from S2.
Skill 2: Chameleon Invisibility
■ Activates after landing 5 normal attack(s). Affects self.
Cover’s Max HP ▲ 32.75% of the caster’s Max HP, lasts for 5 sec.
Attract: Taunt all enemies for 5 sec.
■ Activates when using Burst Skill. Affects self.
Recovery of Cover’s HP ▲ 21.41% of the caster’s final Max HP.
Recovers 21.96% of attack damage for 10 sec.
After landing 5 Shots she’ll increase her own cover’s Max HP which also heals the cover by the amount of cover gained, similar to how Noise’s Max HP increase (S2) works. As mentioned above, this effect doesn’t count as “Recovering Cover’s HP” and as a result won’t activate S1. Spam shooting or not, this effect will have almost 100% uptime assuming Tia doesn’t reload during her 5 shots and not on-purposely stalling her shots.
Second effect activates on Burst and simply recovers the Cover’s HP based on Tia’s final max HP. The next line suggests that she will have life steal for 10s This life steal effect will have minimal effect because of Tia’s inherently low damage as she’s a defender.
Burst: Lizard’s Protection
Cooldown: 40s
■ Affects self.
Generates a Shield with 35.07% of the caster’s final Max HP for 10 sec.
■ Affects all allies (except self).
Generates a Shield with 10.21% of the caster’s final Max HP for 10 sec.
■ Affects all allies.
Re-enter Burst Skill Stage 1.
Her burst skill is straight forward, giving everyone a Shield which activates Naga S1’s 2nd effect as well as improving her burst. Like all other shields, damage doesn’t bleed through allowing you to tank a OHKO (one hit KO) attack unless the boss has innate pierce mechanics
Campaign
Similar to how Blanc requires Noir to burst consistently every cycle, Tia also requires Naga to be on the team to function optimally.
Using Tia and Naga together means you’ll be forced into running a 2-1-2 comp with 1 B1 slot taken by Tia and the B2 slot taken by Naga. This forces the other B1 to be a CDR unit. Contenders for these positions are Volume, Dorothy, Liter. The 2 B3 units should have weapons that can consistently core hit (Snipers, MG) to leverage Naga’s core damage buff, however not mandatory as other B3s can also benefit from Naga’s ATK buff and Tia’s Attack Damage buff. Despite being forced to burst with Modernia when using Tia and Naga comp, her burst benefits from their buffs as Modernia during her burst value (2.24%) automatically targets cores of hit targets, which should help her clear more waves.
Note: Tia will be taunting EVERYTHING if she is not played manually. Which greatly ruins her potential in campaign play.

Arena
Tia as a mag rocket launcher, so her burst generation is low. She is able to provide shields to the team. Unlike shields in campaign, shields in PvP does NOT protect the users from overflow damage, which means hard hitting bursts like scarlet’s or 2B’s still has the capability off one shotting teams.
Update: Tia Is able to proc her own skill 1 buff dmg buff via burst. Meaning she can be used as a liter sub in nuke teams, however a burst 1 is still needed in the team to full burst.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
With the release of Tia, we can now use Naga to her full potential. The two JKs will play a hybrid support role similar to Bunnies, providing both offensive and defensive buffs. They are a decent side grade to bunnies with some gimmicks to set them apart, possibly trivializing boss fights with their impressive sustain and offensive capabilities.
However this support duo will break if Tia ever loses her cover, more testing is needed to see how she’ll fair against bosses with her near constant taunt. With that said, Tia’s S1 with almost 100% uptime may rival Blanc’s Damage Taken debuff which is an amazing offensive buff.
Using Tia + Naga locks you into a 2-1-2 team comp, and in a boss scenario, the chosen B3s should have the majority of their personal damage coming from bursts as you’ll have to cycle between their Bursts. B3s such as Modernia wont be a good pick with the JKs as you’ll have to use her burst which hurts Modernia’s DPS.
Ending Thoughts
Tia’s kit looks very impressive as it allows her to relieve pressure from the entire team while providing some sustain to her self. Her Burst provides shield which enables all of Naga’s ATK buffs. However there’s a potential “Achilles heel” with her kit as it relies heavily on whether or not Tia’s cover is present.
Do note that she’ll become a “brick” without Naga (for the time being) as other units capable of Cover Repair like Liter/Cocoa simply can’t keep up due to their 15s cooldown.
If you managed to pull Naga, it’s best to pull for Tia as well to complete the support duo, they’ll certainly find a solid place in high damage comps in Raid content. Otherwise if your focus isn’t on raid content or if you already have bunnies, you can safely wishlist Tia and see what anniversary has in store.
A proper analysis of Tia together with Naga will be released once more testing has been done after Tia’s release.

Something that needs to be considered is that individual shields like Tia’s prevent the player from manually selecting targets with targetting bursts like Dorothy’s and Soline’s due to them acting as barriers. This bug has been in the game since the beta, and could impact Tia further down the line as more units with such bursts are released. Considering it hasn’t been fixed in about a year, it might be here to stay.
Sweet Jesus, I was already interested in her before seeing as you’ve pointed out that she’s the second unit added to the game to come with the busted Attack Damage buff. Her with Naga are going to be a massive buff to PvE completion, and while sadly Tia is trash in the arena from the looks of things, Naga slapping out 9% heals every 3.75 seconds could be a contender for usage in a defensive set.
They sound like they’ll be the meta support once a meta 20s B1 attacker that isn’t just good at bosses gets released. Being able to produce 4-skill bursts seems like it’ll be amazing once actually get a good B1 attacker lmao.
