Intro
Summer event is almost here! The update will come with multiple mini-games, goodies, rewards, New Nikkes, Costumes, and more. Let’s start getting through them!
New Nikkes
A surprise that’s for sure. Our favorite (and only) Underworld Queens will be having summer alters! These are completely “New” Nikkes with different kits from the originals.
Rosanna: Chic Ocean
Kit Summary
Rosanna:Chic Ocean is a supporter Nikke who enhances her allies’ attack
every time she destroys an enemy’s part.
Not only does she support her allies in quickly destroying the enemy’s
parts,she also maintains significant attack power after destroying them.
A possibly strong, “Niche” Nikke that can definitely see some use depending on the values of her kit is. Her cooldown for her burst skill is also extremely important. Since Campaign (mostly) and PvP’ing with other Nikke’s have no parts to destroy (officially ・ω<), expect her to strictly be a Boss killer Nikke.
Sakura: Bloom In Summer
Kit Summary
Sakura: Bloom in Summer is an Attacker Nikke whose attack grows stronger every time she destroys the enemy’s parts.
She can sustain more powerful attacks according tothe number of parts destroyed.
Similarly to Rosanna, her ATK potential increases every time a part is destroyed. However, the differences between the two is that Sakura is more offensive (Attacker stats, Self buffs) and Rosanna is more Supportive (Team Buffs, Supporter Stats). It may also seem that Sakura can also function as a psudo tank depending on her skill values.
Closing Thoughts
Would most likely be “Meta” against bosses regenerate parts multiple times. Otherwise, there might be benched out. Do note that they are AR weapon type, one of the worst weapon types of the game due to weapon accuracy (No core hits) and DPS. So they need Scarlet-type values of ATK buffs/other unique buffs to be relevant outside wind weak content.

3 Actual skins for the big breasted ladies! Coincidentally, all Shotgun Nikkes as well! Bask in the bounce.
New Favorite Item
Viper Might be a game changer for Shotgun teams. Items have been shown to greatly enhance skills, boosting them up multiple tiers! Shift up really trying to keep the shotgun meta alive
New Minigame + Collab!
A huge mini-game has been teased, and it looks extremely fun. It’s a mini-collab between Dave the Diver and Nikke!
More Skins!
To fit the Collab’s Theme, Mast and Anchor have been given Skins as well!

I’m definately going to try and pull sakura, fell in love with her outfit and her chic sunglasses. Rosanna is hot too, will try if I manage to get Sakura!
Also how would Viper fit in any shotgun team?
Tove, Leona, S:Twinkle and Mprivaty, and… Viper?
Or would Viper replace Leona so Bunny Alice can go in? Or a different shotgun team altogether..? I’m not too sure T^T
We’ll have to wait and see how much her treasure affects her kit. It will be very hard to fit her into the default SG team though since you want Bunny Alice for Tove stacks. Might need some testing once it’s released but for now stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated!

Finally
I can’t believe they are adding a new favorite type already. Red hood exclusive costume containing, Drinks with X, motorcycle like X and dog. weak af. Good thing they added dave cuz I was about to have a dry summer.
Am I the only one with a bug in the “aegis the diver” mode on my PC? I walk up to the edge of the boat and hold down spc, the bar fills up, but nothing happens.
