Well, this has been LOOOOOONG overdue for this site. I have spent the major part of this month researching all PvP units for champs arena instead of writing PvP character reviews, and will now return soon on writing PvP character reviews! Huge back load unfortunately: Mana, Helm treasure and the upcoming Rei Ayanami (Tentative Name) are on the top of the list for now and are in works!
WITH THAT SAID, let us jump right into half a month worth of research and discussions and watching videos again and again, as well as reading skills again and again and againnnn! I hope this will be a very informative tier list for everyone from now onwards.
Main idea behind changes
- Champions Arena to be released soon, which is a 5 team game mode instead of the 3 team mode which the tier list is now based on.
- ATK and DEF are kept as equally important over 5 teams, with extreme emphasis on use rates and usability of units.
- Slight tier changes may be made later depending on how Champions Arena’s format turns out to be, and which one of ATK and DEF turn out to be more important.
SSS tier changes
This tier is defined by units who are simply considered the Queens of PvP. They are just so solid, and ALWAYS annoying to go against. If the opponent has these units in their team, you will have to use brain cells to win.
Biscuit: 9.6 -> 10
It needs to be said. Biscuit is simply the best support unit in PvP. She is the most annoying unit ever players will have to go against. There is no true stall without Biscuit simply making defenders invincible for 10 whole seconds!
Helm with Favorite Item: 9.9
Not a hard decision to make, she is really one of the best units to have in PvP right now. Burst Gen, Off burst damage, Main burst threat, heals. The only problem of hers is that she is a Water unit, and the dominance of Electric units in PvP means she cannot be a 10.
Scarlet: 9.5 -> 9.7
Not a major change, but a cushion rating buff to show that she isn’t on the edge of falling off. She is still the only B3 in the game that is able to restrict 3 entire gun types from being useful in PvP, as well as being the main counter of the other top B3: S.Anis.
Noah: 9.3 -> 9.7
With the bug fix giving Noah top tier Burst Gen, Noah is successfully the most broken burst in PvP. Her rating will now reflect this. Do not forget, Noah is the only hard AoE counter in PvP. Invincibility is no joke. Noise, Nero, and especially Bay wish they were as good as Noah in PvP.
Emilia: 9.2 -> 9.7
Burst Gen, Nuke, Off burst damage, On burst damage, super strong normal hits, hits 3 enemies with normal shots. 5 during her burst with insane follow up damage once she is done with her nuke. Emilia is THE Collab unit to have for PvP. What Asuka: Wille is to PvE, Emilia is to PvP.
Jackal (10) and Anis: Sparkling Summer (9.7) will remain the same ratings.
SS tier changes
This tier is defined by units who have solid use rates, solid use, flexibility, and the strength to be used in many teams without many drawbacks. They can beat entire teams with the help of their skills, or have one very very strong point about them.
Blanc: 9.1 -> 9.45
Blanc’s superiority really needs to be studied in PvP. She is THE strongest support structure after Biscuit is used up. She is the only unit that allows for a stall team all by herself due to her immensely strong indomitability and the exceedingly rare damage taken debuff that is hard to counter. In the SS tier, she is the best unit.
Rumani, Centi: 9.00 -> 9.4
No doubt about it, these units are essential fillers for team building. They are one of the strong burst gen filler units and have an almost guaranteed use rate for all accounts in champs arena. However, this is an extremely replaceable profession where a better unit that does multiple things can mean they fall off fast. But since we need so many units right now for burst gen, they do their job well.
Maiden: Ice Rose: 9.3 -> 9.4
Strong Burst generator and very strong off burst damage, essentially a clipSG power creep in every sense. Her burst is also a strong counter to slower teams with jackal links since she has a huge nuke in her burst.
Mana, Rapunzel, Noise: 9.2, 9.0, 9.3 -> 9.4
These units are ultimately one of the key units to form team 3/4/5. Mana and Rapunzel revives are insanely useful. Noise AoE block with follow up heal is quite important for tons of stall teams. This trio of heal/revive units is very important for the current pvp meta. There are simply no units like them, and they also leave the B2 spot for strong buffers/blockers.
Red Hood 9.2 -> 9.3
A unit for everything, but used mainly for her insane ATK buff as B1. Her B3 mimics Alice and can also sometimes deal damage to a 2nd unit alongside 1 unit. Her being iron also means that electric units, which are extremely common in PvP, are terrified of her existence.
Cinderella 9.00 -> 9.3
The best AoE unit for instant kills. Fast Cindy is a genuine threat. She doesn’t even need buffs to kill is the scariest thing about her. Cindy comfortably sits in the middle of SS tier and is here to stay. Simply no one is like her in this game.
Laplace with Favorite Item: 9 -> 9.2
Similar unit to xMaiden, in that she is a clipSG power creep since she does not feed, provides similar burst gen, and has super high off burst damage. She is also Iron, which means that she is the sworn nemesis of electric units, which are usually meta in PvP.
Rosanna: 9.00 -> 9.2
The B1 menace. A spot usually filled by defenders or healers, but Rosanna wants to do her own thing. Does not care if her own units die. In fact, she WANTS death to happen since it makes her instantly shoot up the burst gen bar. A unit to study for any PvP fan. Rosanna is a very strong option and, by herself, she can prove to be a very useful support structure to form Nuke teams.
xAnne: 9.1 -> 9.2
While Mana and Rapunzel, who are similar to xAnne since they are also revivers, are considered higher rated than her within the same tier, xAnne is no joke. She is the only reviver unit that provides offensive regimen to the team and provides an ATK buff. She has a lot of teams she can fit in and will be a unit to look out for Champion’s arena!
Moran: 9.1 -> 9.2
Moran can be a tough unit to properly use since she has low burst gen and her AoE block is not heals, but instead is a damage reduction. She is similar to Noise, and is sometimes better and sometimes worse. Her synergy with Biscuit, as well as being a B1 unit that tanks is what her main strengths are (usually B2 units are known to be tankers, like Noah or Blanc, and Noise is usually too weak of a solo tank). Moran has several solid uses in the current meta and tons of synergies which allow her to shine. She is born for stall teams and is part of quite a few unique stall teams where only she works as B1.
Scarlet: Black Shadow: 9.2 -> 9.1
Strong unit to use as B3. Very very high damage, and can sometimes overturn battles even against the Noah Biscuit wall depending on how she deals damage. However, she will mostly brick herself against the Biscuit wall. However, if there is no Biscuit and there is no Blanc, SBS is here to play ball. She can be used to absolutely roll most teams.
Anis at 9.00 rating will be the only one who stays the same rating. She will be the gatekeeper of entry to SS tier.
S tier changes
This tier is defined by units who are very usable and have strong use cases. However they are simply weaker options than their SS and SSS tier counterparts. They are still however very strong units who can change the tide of a fight and win fights on their own, or are strong options to fill for burst gen.
Bay: 9.00 -> 8.90
Can be both a Soft or Hard AoE counter, a solid choice for champs arena team 4 or team 5 in our opinion and a must use in one of 5 teams as it stands. However, we feel that she is not strong enough and is easy to power creep. Hence, we are dropping her to be the best tier of the S tier. In terms of use, she does feel strong on paper but practically speaking it is hard to form teams around her.
Alice: 9.10 -> 8.90
Power crept. SBS does more damage, Red Hood does more than just deal single target damage and is much more flexible. Single target damage does not have a bright future in DEF teams but in ATK, Alice can have her say as one of the better options to use for B3.
Maiden: 9.00 -> 8.7
Also power crept. Maiden’s AoE requirement makes her a weaker option even though her AoE is one of the strongest when double buffed in-game. Her burst gen and off burst damage is also decent, landing her a good safe spot in S tier. However, unless more proper supports like Blanc and Jackal are released, Maiden’s use is probably restricted to that of a Burst Gen unit, similar to that of B.Soda, Viper, Noir or Drake.
Viper with Phase 2 Favorite Item: 8.5 -> 8.6
Rating considers that she is Phase 2 in her Favorite Item. An SR15 doll means she is already hitting super hard now, but an added bonus is that if she bursts, she has a small single target nuke which can assist in killing units. Otherwise, she is a solid Burst Gen unit, and can be used as a filler. She is a b2 so she can be used to assist in position issues that may arise. However, she is Water and that is a problem in PvP since most good DPS are electric.
A2: 8.7 -> 8.5
Strong choice for Burst Gen filler, similar to other SGs. Hits 3 units and hence has good off burst damage. With high charge speed values on OL she can be a force to be reckoned with.
Nero: 8.1 -> 8.5
Nero is one of the most solid tanks in PvP. Bar Noah, there is genuinely just one option that can act like her, and that’s Nero. With some more healers that have been released now, Nero can be considered a solid tank that can block all damage except for AoE in P1. Her nemesis is AoE damage, but regardless of that, Nero is the gatekeeper of S tier units.
Soda: Sparkling Bunny, Drake with Favorite Item remain at 8.7. Noir and Drake remain at 8.6. On to A tier!
A tier changes
This tier is defined by units who have strong niches. One trick ponies who just don’t have enough strength or usability to make it to the S tier. They are strong usable units on their own but lack that special something.
Makima: 8.6 -> 8.45
Makima forms the upper limit of A tier with her solid indomitability. A priceless ability to have for ATK, as she can keep a lot of units at one position as she refuses to die, especially SG teams.
Anchor: Innocent Maid: 8 -> 8.45
Anchor is a strong Burst 2 unit which tries to mimic Noise but fails to do so. Her HP cap is a bottle that needs to be filled by someone else since she only partially heals it, and it is not a direct HP buff so units like Cinderella are not buffed from it. Anchor is essentially a Max HP increaser, but the practical use of it is hard to implement in teams. Over 5 teams however, she can see some solid use. She forms the upper limit of A tier.
Viper, Pepper, Sugar: 8.5 -> 8.4
These are simple Clip SG units that provide nothing special except that they can simply fill slots for Burst Generation. Units like Noir or Drake provide an offensive buff or 2, while these units provide only and only Burst Generation.
Quency: Escape Queen, Privaty: Unkind Maid, Ein, Sakura: Bloom In Summer, 2B, Rei Ayanami: 9.2, 8.6, 7, 9, 8.7, 9 -> 8.3
Mass demotion/promotion of all basic AoE units. These units are mainly AoE or constant AoE units that deal a lot of damage, which is often enough to kill the enemy team. However, they have some serious problems, some of which are and are not limited to: Easily blocked by soft AoE counters like Bay (QeQ, 2B, Maid Priv, Rei Ayanami), Biscuit’s invincibility on a taunter (QeQ, Ein and 2B), or Noise. Most of these units also feed a lot, apart from Ein. These units also need buffers to successfully kill units. They are all replacement units to other better, higher rated AoE units like Scarlets, and do not have any teams they shine in on their own.
Mari 8.1 -> 8.0
Mari forms the borderline of A tier. Her AoE assist + Damage buff is what makes her a very solid choice to use. A pair for a lot of nukers, Mari adds that push needed with a little bit of extra damage that sometimes allows nukers to kill confirm their opponents, not to mention the high damage buffs Mari provides. Mari forms the gate to enter A tier in this tier list.
Rapi: Red Hood (8.40) and Quiry (8.40) remain at their ratings.
B tier changes
These units mark the usability line. They have the borderline minimum skills you need to have to qualify as a usable unit in PvP. The descriptions you will see should help you make more sense of what minimum usability is defined as.
Nihilister: 8.7 -> 7.9
Very simple unit which provides a lot of Burst Generation, but not at the level of units in higher tiers.
Harran: 8.6 -> 7.5
Once a ruler of this kingdom, now a remnant of the past. Harran simply does not deal enough damage to kill opponents the higher your sync goes. She is a unit for low sync players, since she can one shot opponents if you are below 200 sync. As your sync grows higher, you unlock better gear and collection items which make Harran irrelevant in the ultimate meta.
Kilo: 9 -> 7.5
Similar to Harran, she is able to nuke enemy units. She is restricted by her shield requirement when it comes to teambuilding and positioning. She can one shot opponents but requires a fast team and is more an ATK friendly unit, almost useless for DEF teams.
Mica: Snow Buddy, Liter, Miranda with Favorite Item: 8.3, 8.2, X -> 7.5
These units provide offensive buffs as B1 units, along with one or two added quirks.
- xMica provides extra Burst Gen
- Liter provides higher ATK buff
- Miranda with Phase 2 Favorite Item provides one shot with 100% crit rate as well as a huge added crit damage buff, which can be used with Emilia for a super high damage shot!
Crown, Grave: 7.5
These B2 units provide offensive buffs. Grave also provides Burst Generation and is slightly more favourable to use probably than Crown in PvP. However, players may have Crown as higher CP and may use her to high effect this way.
Zwei, Neon, Product 23, Pascal: 7
Burst Generation Filler units. They form the basic usability line. Above them, all units have a very solid use in some way or another.
C tier changes
These units may be used for incomplete rosters. They may have a very select few specific comps where they shine, or have niche potential.
(In no particular order of priority) -> 6.5
D tier changes
These units may be used by players who have a very incomplete box. They can maybe use them at least for some burst gen, otherwise these units at least have something going in their favor making them barely better than other units.
(In no particular order of priority) -> 5
E tier changes
These units should ideally not be used.
(In no particular order of priority) -> 3
F tier changes
These units are R units that are too detrimental to use for Combat Power, and provide absolutely nothing for the team.
(In no particular order of priority) -> 1.5
Thank you for reading! I hope you learned something! <3

Thank you for your hard work, it’s a difficult job, but you did it with excellence, I’m grateful
I would like to know if I should put OL on PVP-exclusive NIKKE – EX: I have a Biscuit mlb with armor tetra, skill + 4 , should I put OL, or is it okay like this
I have a lot of NIKKE for campaigns and company towers that are without OL, I don’t have enough armor and skill kits for everyone man 😭😭😭
All Nikkes in and above SS tier deserve Overload gear for PvP in my opinion if you want to compete and stay at the top.
you do not have to upgrade everyone right now, just do it slowly over a few months. do one nikke at a time.
what’s the best team comp for Rookie Arena?
PVP, i sleep.
But great work
is S.Anis missing from this list?
It’s right above the SS tier header: “Jackal (10) and Anis: Sparkling Summer (9.7) will remain the same ratings.”
Just to confirm, there’s no note for jackal because she’s a no brainer right?
Thank you for everything 🙂
:]
