Time to absolutely de-dust our Nikke: Goddess of Victory Tier List after almost a year! Main focus of this tier list update is to drop multiple Nikkes down some tiers as the top tiers are getting very crowded. Most Nikke Notes are also updated so they make actual sense in the current Meta (I probably missed some). Tier list includes multiple tier changes for Story and Bossing.
I’ll note down the most notable placement changes as I’ve basically changed all Nikke placements.
Bossing
This was made in mind primarily focusing on Solo raid and the idea of multiple teams, but still directly translates to the best Nikkes against normal boss content in Campaign and Anomaly Interception. This tier list does take consideration of elemental damage based buffs as currently we have solid/dedicated teams for each element to the point where there is no one team fits all content anymore.
SSS Tier
The Nikkes in this tier are often used in every Solo raid Season, no matter what season. Basically, the Nikkes with the strongest team archetypes/built around upon.
These Nikkes are always present/top 1 pick against their respective strong against element in single team content
Notable Tier Drops (to SS tier)
Tia being dropped down was a long time coming, ever since Crown was released really. Naga is still an extremely strong buffer but there has been multiple top tier DPSs that have released recently that can’t benefit from her core buff damage too well. Helm Treasure can be used Universally but when put in Nagas optimal teams, has a lower team DPS ceiling. Crown can just be put anywhere and enables anyone extremely well, which is why I believe she deserves to be the sole SSS tier dedicated non-CDR buffer.
SS tier
These Nikkes are very strong in neutral element or have very high value/important Nikke in element based content (Ex: Maiden: Ice Rose, Asuka). These Nikkes can be occasionally replaced if the element doesn’t favor their team
Notable Tier Drops (to S tier)
Nikkes listed rarely see any off-element advantage use anymore/have fallen off as a buffer in value relative to other buffers
S Tier
These Nikkes are strong elemental picks and can often see play in one of the top 5 teams in solo raid in their respective strong against elements
Notable Tier Drops (to A or below tier)
Nikkes listed, even at their respective strong elements, may not even see use at the top 5 teams as the higher tiers provide more value even if they don’t have element advantage. They are still acceptable team archetype substitutes in incomplete Nikke boxes.
A tier
Nikkes that have niche occasional use depending on boss mechanics (EX: Multiple Parts), borderline still within the top 5 teams of their respective teams or best substitute Nikkes for certain teams.
Story
Similar Concept to bossing ideology but due to how “different” the game mode is compared to bossing, some neutral options will still be a lot better than Nikkes with elemental advantage.
SSS tier
These Nikkes can be used in any element easily and make stages they’re strong against a breeze. Usually can fill multiple roles (Burst generator/DPS, CDR/DPS, Buffer/DPS, etc etc)
Notable Tier Drops (to SS tier)
Liter gets dropped because of her cool down ramp-up and is usually substituted often because of that by Rapi: Red Hood, D:Killer Wife or Rouge. Modernia gets dropped as while she is amazing to use in Low-Medium CP deficits, she gets walled a bit at higher CP deficits, which Alice can usually handle with proper manual aim.
SS Tier
These Nikkes can be used in any element but not as easily as the higher tier / Next best team or occasional support substitutes in content (Ex: Need Healing against Fart Raptures)
Notable Tier Drop (to S tier)
Gives similar buffs to Grave, but Grave can second as a decent DPS in fire weak content/ has more utility via increased burst gen.
S tier
Nikkes that are primarily used against their element strong content and are often better options than the top tiers against their non-advantage element.

Love the updates here. I would also dare say, if we’re truly being honest with ourselves, Rapunzel should be ranked higher than she is. In practice she is a much better support/healer than Naga.

Whats up with the newest tier list changes, pretty drastic changes all things considered but no update or notes on whats changed to cause such a sudden change.
