Intro
This article plans to help guide the user on what to buy first in the shop, and the general mechanics of the event.
Last Kingdom is a Story Event. You will receive 5 free stamina daily; this is the event stamina. You can spend event stamina to clear the story stages, at 1 stamina per entry. If you enter battle but fail or exit the stage, it will not consume event stamina and you may try again.
Stages and farming
There are two types of Story Event stages: one-time story stages, and repeatable farming stages.
One-time stages are accompanied by a story dialogue, and give a one-time reward when cleared. These stages cannot be replayed after the initial clear. The story dialogue can be replayed in the Record Repository.
Repeatable stages give a reward for each clear, and can be farmed repeatedly. Each repeatable stage will reward: credits (1H), battle data (1H), or core dust (1H), at 1~4 count per clear depending on difficulty.
Farm the material that you need. At synchro level 1~120, core dust; level 121~160, battle data and core dust; level 161~200+, core dust is recommended to farm. Although it may seem like you’ll run out of battle data a lot during these levels (161~200+). The user may feel tempted to farm battle data instead. I would still very much advise to farm core dust, as at levels beyond 200 cost 10000 Core Dust per level and after reaching level 200, battle data is essentially useless as the user will never run out of battle data even if they tried. See more here.
Clearing event stages also Event currency. Event currency can be spent in the event shop to purchase additional rewards. See the Shop section below for more information.
Shop Priority

I would recommend the buying order to be Recruit Vouchers > Skill books >Core dust cases > Battle data (If Below level 200 Otherwise last Priority)>Consoles > Credits (Core dust if nearing level 200+). Do NOT buy event tickets until hard mode, as it is much worth it to farm resources there. If the user has capped stamina (ex. 10/5 event stamina) the user will NOT gain the 5 free stamina daily attempts the next day/reset.
Reward Boost Nikke
When clearing an event stage, you may receive a bonus reward of 50 event currency. The chance for this bonus reward drop is at base 0% chance. In order to increase your chances for a bonus drop, you must bring Reward Boost Nikke’s in your story event squad.

Log-in Event

Challenge Mode
Storm bringer works similarly to previous challenge mode encounters. It has no parts (turrets) and has multiple QTE patterns. The boss will enter phase 2 at around 1:40s~ depending on qte clear speed
Storm Bringer has a unique QTE pattern that is recommended to be broken my fast firing guns. It has a global timer, and needs to be destroyed rather quickly.

Mini-game
Tower defense mini-game is here! It seems rather simple and is unlocked after completing 1-5. There are multiple stages it seems simple enough. A more detailed guide will be written (Or even a straight up walkthrough of stages) if needed.
Daily missions and multiple rewards from challenges, including pulls are found in this game mode.

I wish the mini-game would be included in the permanent roster. Already scored 20 thousand points, I really liked it.
For the Mini-Game, it seems like the best bet is to rush upgrading your Nikke as high as possible untill the enemy starts rushing lots of small stuff then spam railguns as support. Rails seem to be much better compared to the other types of weapons as a jack of all trades, it hits everything, fast enough to get the small fast stuff when you have multiple including flying Raptures and will do the most damage to bosses.
Seems straightforward so far now but part is not out yet. I’m able to do these without taking damage once but honestly it’s not too difficult. So far my strategy is as follows.
1. Spawn Scarlet(Fastest attack speed and insane damage with her special)
2. Upgrade her twice
3. Spawn Rapunzel(Stops fast enemies when needed early on to compensate for no turrets)
4. Keep Upgrading Scarlet untill they almost break through the two girls
5. When they almost break through spam railguns
6. Spawn Snow White(Best range and insane damage with her special)
7. Continue to upgrade the girls as needed, prioritize Scarlet
Also always place your Nikkes as the main DPS, set them on passages where the enemy will have to go through and stay for longer periods of time such as in forks, surround the fork with Nikkes, then spam turrets only when their attack speed is currently insufficient to handle them, once you spammed turrets focus on upgrading. You can even despawn turrets to upgrade the Nikkes faster later on.
Upgrade priority for me goes as follows.
Nikkes(fifth column)
Support Stuff(sixth and last column)
Railguns(second column)
The rest you can just put anywhere for completion.
I’m sure theres other working strategies, but so far for me this is better than spamming just railguns and upgrading them, or any other weapon, theres probably a perfect optimal setup for each stage, including which Nikkes you select, but so far this works for me.
can somebody explain what a is “Challange – Upgrade all of Marians skills” should I upgrade her character skill 3 of them until max to finish the Challange??
the challenge on mini game mission
I got it, you need upgrade until all the skill of character reach the max level on the Minigame challange, not the character skill on general
is it just me or is Challenge 1-7 kinda overtuned…..
1-7 is for sure overtuned, I have almost a fully maxed team and he still breaks most of my team’s cover. Not to mention he fires a laser at each of the nikkes and then does a global attack that wipes them out after.
A global attack that also bypasses cover. Interestingly Noise’s taunt can direct all the bolts to herself to save the rest, but units like Ludmilla will not draw the fire to themselves even with their burst tied taunt.
My team has always been focused on fast hard damage output. I can whittle it down to roughly half its remaining hp but then my team falls apart because it ends up dealing too much damage too fast for me to do anything about it. It mostly stems from the fact that the challenge 1-7 bosses are basically Special Interception grade but you don’t get Special Interception stats, you’re locked to 160 while they’re level 300.
