Intro
A rather short guide as this boss is extremely straight forward.
Mechanics
Land eater is actually a punching bag if the team has enough damage. It has a few sets of QTE’s but they are easily able to be destroyed. Land eater transitions into phase 2 after enough damage is dealt to it. The boss does get “stuck” at phase 2 once its attack rotation starts until it is done firing its blue beams. These beams are usually dangerous but they can be i-framed by most characters by simply taking cover right before it hits the Nikke.
QTE
The QTE’s are rather straight forward, no white circles or areas to evade. Simply destroy them. Failing these QTE’s will either have land eater spawn a rather weak shield or laser beams.
Rockets should clear all circles with ease if needed.
Team Comps
Land eater is electric weak. So it is in your best interest to use DPS Nikkes that have the electric attributes for additional bonus damage. Such Nikkes are Anis: Sparkling Summer, Scarlet, And Guillotine.
Recommended Nikkes
Burst 3: Anis Sparkling Summer, Scarlet, Guillotine, Privaty (Paired with Anis)
Burst 2: Novel, Naga, Blanc, Dolla
Burst 1: Dorothy, Liter, Volume
Recommended Teams
Bread and butter Electric weak comp. Dorothy is more recommended in this team as she synergizes well with Privaty, and Liter gives max ammo which is a no-no in Anis: Sparkling summer teams. An anis can be replaced with a Scarlet if the Scarlet has more Elemental damage rolls or if circle breaking is an issue.
An also effective team if the squad has better raised Scarlets. Since healing is not really needed against this boss as long as QTE circles as destroyed, this team should be fine without healers despite the self-destructive nature of the team. Destroy stray bombs when needed. Liter can be replaced with volume.
Substitute for Scarlet team. Should deal similar if not slightly more damage than Scarlet team on equal investment, however usually Guillotine’s are not raised at that level / not prioritized.
Since Land eater cores respawn rather often, Snow white can be used rather effectively here. Although they don’t have the element advantage against this boss, which leads to less damage more often than not compared to the other teams.
