Update on January 11
Commanders,
The game server will be offline for maintenance and updates on January 11, 2024. During this time, you will not be able to log in to the game. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please note that this update is mandatory. You can download the latest version updates on the App Store or Google Play Store. Please make sure your phone has at least 5 GB of storage space for the update. To update the PC client to the latest version, please click LAUNCH on your Launcher.
Please do not close the game during the resource download process, in case the client update fails.
Expected maintenance duration: 11:00:00 –18:00:00, January 11, 2024 (UTC +9)

Major updates:
1. New Character
1.1 SSR Leona
SSR Nikke Leona, the eldest member of Happy Zoo who’s in charge of ferocious animals, joins Special Recruit.
Leona provides support to allies by increasing their effective range and ATK with her SG weapon.

* Special Recruit duration: From the end of January 11, 2024 maintenance to 4:59:59, January 25, 2024 (UTC+9)
* How to obtain: Lobby → Recruit → Special Recruit
* Recruit Rules:
- You can use Gems (Free/Paid) or Advanced Recruit Vouchers to recruit in Special Recruit (Ordinary Recruit Vouchers cannot be used).
- There is a 4% chance of acquiring SSR Nikkes in Special Recruit and a 2% chance of acquiring SSR Leona.
- You can get Gold Mileage Tickets when recruiting in Special Recruit.
- You can exchange 200 Gold Mileage Tickets for Leona in the Mileage Shop.
- When Special Recruit ends, unused Gold Mileage Tickets will not disappear.
- In the version update after Special Recruit ends, Leona will be available in Ordinary Recruit, Social Point Recruit, and from Mold items. (Unavailable in New Commander Special Recruit and Ordinary Recruit (Tutorial))
2. New Events
2.1 New Story Event: LION HEART
* Event duration: From the end of January 11, 2024 maintenance to 4:59:59, January 25, 2024 (UTC+9)
Citizens have voiced their concerns about the protection of ferocious animals in the Ark.
As a result, the shelter is temporarily closed.
Happy Zoo squad, who is usually all business, takes this chance to kick back and unwind…
Players can enter the LION HEART event page and complete stages to win event items, which can be used to exchange various rewards such as Recruit Vouchers and skill enhancement materials in the Event Shop.
* Item exchange in the Event Shop will end on January 25, 2024 at 4:59:59 (UTC+9).
①Challenge Stage

Challenge Stage is available in LION HEART. Challenge the difficult boss stages to obtain various development materials!
2.2 7-Day Login Event – WHITE LION
* Event duration: From the end of January 11, 2024 maintenance to 4:59:59, January 25, 2024 (UTC+9)
Log in on any 7 days during the event and get rewards. Get Recruit Vouchers and development materials when you log in for 7 days straight.
3. Archives – CHERRY BLOSSOM
Story Event CHERRY BLOSSOM is now available in Archives.
Participate in LION HEART to obtain Memory Films to unlock story events in Archives.

* How to enter: Lobby → Outpost→ Command Center → Recollection → Archives
4. Coordinated Operation
Form a team of five Commanders and challenge Boss Nihilister H.S.T.A. together! Players can either team up with friends and Union members or join the challenge through automatic matching. Defeat the boss and get Broken Cores to exchange Gems and development materials in Recycling Shop!
* Event duration: From 12:00:00, January 12, 2024 to 23:59:59, January 14, 2024 (UTC+9)
* How to join: Lobby → Event → Coordinated Operation
5. Union Raid
Union Raid will begin on January 19 at 12:00:00 (UTC+9)! Challenge the Boss with your Union members, collect Union Chips, and exchange rewards!
*Opening time: From 12:00:00, January 19, 2024 to 4:59:59, January 25, 2024 (UTC+9)
*Condition to join: Union should be Lv. 3
Please note that player is unable to remove Union members or leave the Union during Union Raid.
6. New Commodities
6.1 The new characters’ package will be updated after the server maintenance on January 11, 2024.
*Sale duration: From the end of January 11, 2024 maintenance to 4:59:59, January 25, 2024 (UTC+9)
Please check them out in Lobby → Cash Shop → Limited-Time Package.
7. Simulation Room – Overclock Mode (Beta)
In the new Simulation Room – Overclock Mode (Beta), you can challenge yourself with the new high difficulty mode by configuring additional options. After clearing the Overclock Mode, you can get Skill Manual and Burst Manual for the first time, based on the highest Core Ratio. (If you have yet to claim your rewards from Difficulty 5 Sector C in the current Simulation Room, you can do so at the same time.)
Condition to participate: Clear Simulation Room Difficulty 5 Sector C

8. Optimizations & Misc. Updates

This could turn out to be really good or real shitty. Maybe after Leona they’ll release a B3 meta shotgun user since shift up actually does listen to fans unlike the other gachas I play (looking at you FEH and fuck you Genshin pull rates). It would be nice to have a meta B3 shotgun user already so we would know if its worth pulling for a supporter type like Tove and Leona. I don’t think i’ll be pulling on this banner tho.
Any idea what they mean by the new overclock mode in simulation? it says you have to have beaten 5C to do it… but if you haven’t you can get the rewards simultaneously?
I just do 5a-c on braindead mode these days, so i’m really hoping for more daily skill materials (though if it turned it into a painful chore I might not be happy)
