Flora Review and Guide

Overview

  • Continuously heals self and 2 allies (1 on each side)
  • Shields team on special condition
  • Heals all allies and buffs True Damage on burst
  • Rarely used due to being Burst II with 40s cooldown and hard to fit in teams

Newbie/Incomplete Box Section

Flora is a niche Nikke for True Damage Burst III Nikke and Electric Code allies that play around stacks like Cinderella, Exia (Treasure) or Privaty: Unkind Maid. Outside of True Damage Nikke, she barely provides any good support because of her very limited healing and conditional shielding.

Basic Information

  • Skill 1: Petunia
  • Skill 2: Iris
  • Burst: Secret Garden
  • Cooldown: 40s
  • Rarity: SSR
  • Burst: II
  • Weapon: MG
  • Class: Supporter
  • Element: Electric
  • Manufacturer: Missilis
  • Squad: Botanic Garden
  • Weapon Name: Natural Garden

Normal ATK information

Flora is a normal Machine Gun unit, having a magazine of 300 with a reload time of 2.5s. Nothing special is to be said about her normal attacks as she is a supporter with no effects tied to her normal attacks.

Skills

Skill 1: Petunia

■ Activates at the start of battle only if self survives. Affects self and 2 allies on both sides.
Recovers 1% of caster’s final Max HP every 1 sec continuously.
HP restored ▲ 4% continuously, stacks up to 5 time(s).
■ Activates after landing 100 normal attack(s). Affects all Electric Code allies.
Stack count of buffs ▲ 1.

Slight mistranslation. Floras Skill 1 will stay active for as long as she is alive.

Her continuously heal works similar to Rouges Skill 2, with the exception of Flora being able to be used in position 3. Additionally increases the HP potency of linkes allies by 4×5=20%, leading to a net heal of 1.2% of Floras final Max HP per second. A reference to how the link looks like is shown below.
Increasing stack count of Electric Nikke is good but none of the benefited ones fit in a team with Flora.

Skill 2: Iris

■ Activates when the HP of one of the allies on both sides is lower than 90%. Affects all allies.
Generates a Shield with 10.22% of the caster’s final Max HP for 10 sec.
■ Activates when the HP of one of the allies on both sides reaches Max HP. Affects all allies.
True Damage ▲ 30.97% for 5 sec.

If any of the 2 linked allies drops below 90% HP, Flora shields all allies. If any of them reaches max HP, Flora instead buffs True Damage of all allies. This is easy to accomplish by using Grave or Rouge due to the HP interactions of both of them.
Grave reduces her own HP during Burst which is then healed by Flora, continuously triggering the True Damage buff.
Rouge increases Max HP values on her Burst, leading to allies being below 90% and therefore activating the shielding. This can trigger repetitively if the ally is healed above the threshold and drops again.

Burst: Secret Garden

■ Affects all allies.
Recovers 10.45% of caster’s final Max HP as HP.
True Damage ▲ 42.39% for 10 sec.

Nice emergency heal and hefty True Damage buff for the Nikke that can use it. Scales with final Max HP so using a Burst I that increases the Max HP will also increase the healing from Floras burst.

Campaign

Flora can be fit in any kind of team that has space for 2 Burst II Nikke due to her 40s cooldown. She provides good healing to herself and up to 2 allies off-burst and helps Electric Code allies stack buffs faster.

Generalist Team

Flex B1,Ein,Flora,Laplace,Flex B2

When using Flora in any team, the Commander needs to bring a second Burst II Nikke with either 20s or 40s cooldown for a proper burst usages. Ideally a Burst I CDR like Liter, Rouge, D: Killer Wife or similar is used. Burst generators are also needed due to Machine Guns not having a good burst generation by default, ideally taken care of with spamable Rocket Launcher or Sniper Rifle.

Cope True Damage Teams

Frima,Ein,Flora,Laplace,Clay

The copium True Damage team that is available right now, using all True Damage buffers and carries. Unfortunately though, this team will have no CDR because none of the current True Damage Nikke have builtin CDR.

Alternatively, Frima or Clay can be replaced with any CDR Nikke like Liter, Dolla or even Helm: Aquamarine if the enemy is Iron weak.

Liter,Ein,Flora,Laplace,Clay Frima,Ein,Flora,Laplace,Helm: Aquamarine

Note: Frima and Laplace need their favorite item/treasure to properly work in this team.

Shield Spam Team

Liter,Scarlet,Flora,Guillotine,Flex B2

This team relies on Scarlet (HP ▼ 4.01%.) and Guillotine (HP ▼ 2.01%.) losing HP from their Skill 1s to trigger Floras Skill 2, which creates a Shield for all allies if one of the linked Nikke drops below 90% HP. The Flex Burst II can be chosen per preference, Crown will perform the best. A healer like Naga would negate the HP drain if used on auto and therefore disable the core functionality of this team. Manual play allows any kind of healer.

True Damage Spam Team

Grave,Flora,Ein,Flex B1,Laplace

A team that relies on Grave losing HP with her burst and healing back to full afterwards, triggering Floras Skill 2 True Damage buff. Only Grave is bursting in this team. Any Burst I with CDR can be used. Ideally Liter, Rouge or D: Killer Wife.

Arena

Flora can be usable in PvP due to her Skill 1 healing and Skill 2 shielding on 90% HP but due to her being a Machine Gun Nikke and basically having no high-value buffs she should not be used in arena if possible.

Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid

Flora won’t see any use in top solo raid/union raid. However, she’s certainly viable for Commanders who don’t have full Nikke rosters. Her healing and shielding is decent to help newer Commanders build teams with better sustain. Unfortunately, using her forces the usage of a second Burst II, which may be better used in other teams. Since Flora is a healer/shielder/buffer (True Damage), she’s best used in True Damage teams but does not have teams she excels in otherwise. Simply slot her in teams that need a sustain.

Strengths

  • Can spam shields with the right team
  • Has a total True Damage buff of 73.36%
  • Brings continuous healing for herself and 2 allies
  • Increases Electric Code Nikke buff stacks

Weaknesses

  • 40s cooldown as Burst II
  • Barely any True Damage Burst III
  • Skill 2 locked behind opposing conditions

Should you Pull?

No. Although Flora is cute, pulling for her is not a necessity as she is hard to fit in teams and winter banners have a higher priority. Flora will be available in standard recruit very soon.

  1. On one hand, this review is rather late, but on the other, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that a non-limited time Nikke isn’t going to be a hot commodity when we all know the winter limited-time banners are coming right up.

Unless Flora was some new meta-breaking/defining character on par or exceeding that of a Pilgrim unit, which a cursory glance at her kit would reveal that she isn’t, the smart play would be to wishlist her and save the tickets.

    • Hi, I agree with u she is a bit late, so myself did some research on her when she gotten release within days finding out flora isn’t worth pulling, also notice winter event is coming out soon, but the most important info is the new year event afterward, they may release new pilgrim & reruns them just like last year, it’s all about those pilgrim

      • It’s possible but completely relies on speculations since there’s no official info on the next new years Nikke

  2. I share the little bit late sentiment with the other comments IMO should have just put her data into the skill list priority page rather than publish a full article after the fact.
That said, I was questioning whether or not she would improve upon my Cinderella team composition, Turns out she would have, but not to the extent that it would have been worth pulling for her.
