Overview
- The second part of the support duo for Absolute, alongside Emma: Tactical Upgrade.
- Unlike Emma, Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade can function very well on her own.
- Best B2 in a single slot for Elysion Tower for the foreseeable future.
- Constant true damage dealer with her basic attacks, as long as she never gets hit mid-burst.
- In my opinion, the priority of the three, if you are new. If you are limited in resources, she is the one to get.
Should you Pull?
Eunhwa is a B2 Attacker unit whose main job it is to debuff enemies and deal some DPS as well. While she is intended to be part of a duo with Emma: Tactical Upgrade, and both will optimally work together to buff Vesti: Tactical Upgrade, Eunhwa can still see use outside of the Absolute team due to how independent she is from Emma.
Resources permitting, I recommend securing one copy of Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade. Not only will she be needed for the whole team, but she can also work as an alternative B2 unit for other teams if you aren’t interested in the Absolute Team and lack the more meta options, AND is currently the best B2 Elysion Tower unit in one slot.
Going for Eunhwa only for now also means there’s no complaining about lacking resources to raise all three, an issue I’m sure commanders that go for all three will have to face. Vesti will more than likely still be the most important member, but Eunhwa isn’t too far behind.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade is a B2 Attacker Fire unit who will want to team up with Emma: Tactical Upgrade to buff Vesti: Tactical Upgrade. However, she can work well enough on her own where she can provide her sub-DPS and debuff on burst to other teams outside of the squad. If you lack good B2 units, especially for raids, Eunhwa can do a good enough job!
With the Absolute squad, something to note is that both Emma and Eunhwa lack cooldown, so if using the team together, an off-burst cooldown unit will have to join them to provide it. It is less of a problem nowadays compared to in the past, but it is something to take into account.

Skill 1: Camouflage Scarf
Activates when using Burst Skill. Affects self.
Camouflage: Prevents self from being the target of single-target attacks for 5 sec. Loses effect when the caster takes damage.
Activates when performing Full Charge attacks. Affects self when entering Full Burst. Camouflage: Prevents self from being the target of single-target attacks for 5 sec. Loses effect when the caster takes damage.
Activates only when in Camouflage status. Affects self. Normal attacks deal true damage continuously. True damage ▲ 42.24% continuously.
When Eunhwa uses her burst, she will cover herself in her cloak and gain the status Camouflage. As long as the effect is active, she will not be hit directly, nor be targeted by single target attacks. This is equivalent to Viper in her Vamp Status, or Rosanna in her Concealment Status.
Even if Eunhwa doesn’t use her Burst (such as in some strange 1 – 2 – 2 team comp including her), the second method of gaining Camouflage still works. Performing a fully charged attack while it is burst time will apply Camouflage to Eunhwa.
While Eunhwa is camouflaged, she will both deal true damage with her basic attacks AND increase the true damage she deals. True damage completely ignores the enemy’s DEF in the damage formula, so if a boss has lots of defense comparatively speaking, Eunhwa can still maintain proper DPS against them.
While AoE attacks from enemies can still hit Eunhwa, and subsequently get rid of her Camouflage status, she is able to reapply it to herself by fully charging an attack while Burst Time is still ongoing, so she can consistently deal true damage during Full Burst Time.
Note: In KR/JP, the line ‘Affects self when entering Full Burst‘ is more accurately written as ‘Affects self if it is Full Burst‘.
Skill 2: AS Formation
Activates only when self survives.
AS Formation: Function: Issues a battle-advantageous tactic to target(s).
Effect 1: Affects all allies from the same squad. Critical rate ▲ 8.16% continuously.
Effect 2: Affects all allies. Charge damage ▲ 41.81% continuously.
Effect 3: Affects self. ATK ▲ 42.24% continuously.
Bonus effects when applying LT Formation to self.
Effect 1: Affects all allies. Projectile explosion damage ▲ 5.11% continuously.
Effect 2: Affects all allies. True damage ▲ 30.97% continuously.
Note: LT Formation is the name of Emma: Tactical Upgrade’s Skill 2. Emma also receives benefits if receiving AS Formation from Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade.
As long as Eunhwa is alive, she provides critical rate to members of her own squad only, increases the charge damage of rocket launchers and sniper rifles, and increases her own attack substantially.
If Emma: Tactical Upgrade is on the same team, Eunhwa also increases the damage of projectile explosions slightly (which include rocket launchers, Rapi’s detachable projectiles, and Eunhwa’s Burst, Explosive Round) and true damage of all allies.
Not only does Eunhwa make good use of all of these buffs, but a majority of are active even if Eunhwa is by herself. Unlike Emma, who necessitates Eunhwa to work properly, Eunhwa only loses personal damage if she is not with Emma. Eunhwa can function quite independently from the Absolute squad for this reason.
Burst: Explosive Round
Cooldown: 20s
Affects self. Swap Weapon: Charge time: 0.3 sec
Damage: 105.6% of final ATK as true damage
Full Charge damage: 300% of damage
Max ammunition capacity: 1 round(s)
Special note: Fires an Exploding Bullet dealing area-of-effect damage.
Additional effect: Target: Target(s) hit Effect: Explosive Round – Damage taken ▲ 27.87% for 10 sec.
Eunhwa replaces her sniper rifle with one that shoots an explosive round that deals True Damage. She will also activate her Camouflage from her S1 skill, benefitting from her own True Damage buffs (as well as Emma’s, if on the same team). This unique weapon has a very fast charge time, allowing Eunhwa to fire it off right as Burst Time begins. Unlike other sniper weapons, this one has an AoE component, and its radius is quite big.

In the trailer, the detonation of her burst hit all visible enemies on the screen.
Enemies afflicted by the explosive round gain a good damage taken debuff for 10 seconds. While the damage taken debuff isn’t as great as other support units’, such as Blanc or Rosanna: Chic Ocean, Eunhwa deals substantially more damage than either of them.
It is recommended to let the burst release right as burst time starts, so that the damage it deals can benefit from the +50% damage bonus Burst Time gives to all damage. This can be guaranteed with fast burst activations, or if struggling to tap it on mobile, you can control Eunhwa temporarily, hold the charge until auto does it, and then release right as Full Burst appears on the screen.
Campaign
On her own, Eunhwa makes a competent choice for a B2 support unit in campaign. Not only is her damage for a B2 very good, but some allies can make use of her charge damage buff, and all allies can make use of the true damage debuff her burst provides.
If you are lacking Crown, Grave, or have incomplete support duos (i.e. Tia/Crown and Naga, Blanc with Noir/Rouge, Maid Anchor + Mast) Eunhwa is a very acceptable substitute to use for campaign, even without the rest of Absolute. Unlike most other support duos, Eunhwa is incredibly competent on her own.
if you do have them, there is no real reason to use Eunhwa over them, since she doesn’t provide as much as they do. Emma combined with Eunhwa mostly provide true damage, but so few units make use of it, and those that do currently (Ein and LaplaceF) aren’t mostly true damage dealers, and are better off buffed by others.
Arena
As a sniper, her burst gen is middling in PvP, but it’s possible she may have potential, given her burst’s explosion affecting all Nikkes, on top of the damage taken it provides. It might not put her in the meta for Special Arena, but perhaps it can see use in Champion Arena?
Admittedly, it’s a lot tougher to fit in a purely offensive unit that isn’t a B3, but perhaps Eunhwa can be an exception, similar to Viper. Further testing will be needed.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
Where Eunhwa really shines. Of course, using her with her own squad will be the most optimal place to use her, but she can also see good use outside of it if you either aren’t interested in the rest of Absolute, were not able to get them, or cannot finish them on time.
Eunhwa can be a good B2 unit for a raid team if some of them lack meta options, like Crown, Grave, Mari, or completed support duos.
However, where she’ll really shine is with her own team. Emma’s buffs combine with Eunhwa’s to not just give Vesti a lot of damage, but Eunhwa herself as well. Both Eunhwa and Vesti make great use of all the damage Emma and Eunhwa provide, especially the true damage buff. Added up, it’s a substantial +104% True Damage dealt for Eunhwa and +121% to Vesti when it’s her turn to burst.
Combined with all the other benefits, like critical chance, critical damage, damage taken debuff stacking, projectile explosion up, they really serve themselves well. However, it IS three units to invest in to make this work, on top of it mainly being for Fire, an element that is already full of good damage dealing nikkes, namely Rapi: Red Hood, the current best DPS in the game.
Strengths
- Great DPS for a B2 Attacker Nikke, especially when combined Emma.
- Works fine on her own, doesn’t really need her fellow duo.
- Damage Taken debuff from burst is valuable to anyone, not just her own squad.
- Free outfit!! Isn’t she so pretty with that dress?
- Strongest Elysion B2 within a single slot, for the tower climb. While Maids combined do provide more than Eunhwa, Eunhwa is just one unit to invest in, that doesn’t need to scale up to provide full power.
Weaknesses
- No cooldown. If used alongside Emma: Tactical Upgrade, it will necessitate an off-burst cooldown unit.
- A lot of her buffs are mostly to herself.
- Her damage taken debuff is only applied if she pulls off the burst shot. i.e. If she is stunned by a Sentry rapture before she can do it, it will cause a desync between Full Burst time and the debuff.
- No other utility whatsoever. She is only a damage dealer and buffs damage dealt.
Rating
Note: This rating assumes usage of Emma: Tactical Upgrade. Even if Eunhwa is very capable of being on her own, it is still her most optimal way of playing.

These are estimated to be the best teams for the Absolute squad as a whole. While Eunhwa works good enough on her own, it is still BiS to use her with her own team, as she both increases the damage of Vesti, and sees greater damage when used alongside Emma. Using the three together also prevents them from ‘taking’ members from other established teams.
Both Emma and Eunhwa combine to provide substantial true damage buffs to allies, and Vesti has a long base charge time, meaning depending on the boss, if true damage is the most desirable for it, either Vesti will want to receive as much buffing as possible with charge time reduction from either Alice (or Mana!), or the Absolute team buff the current best true damage unit, Ein, alongside Vesti.
Eunhwa can also be used as a filler B2 to any other team if you lack other options. As mentioned, she can function quite independent from them, unlike Emma.
Recommended Cubes
Doll Priority
As an attacker with good DPS for a B2, it is recommended to give Eunhwa a Doll, minimum SR5. As she isn’t necessarily going to be the main damage dealer of any team, if you are lacking in resources, I would consider it a middle priority, especially as there are more important sniper Nikkes that could use the Doll, such as Helm, Alice, Red Hood, Rouge, etc.
Expected Skill Priority
| Nikke | Budget Skill Investments | Recommended Skill Investments | Skill Priority | Notes | Investment Priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade | Skill 1: 4 Skill 2: 7 Burst: 4 | Skill 1: 7 Skill 2: 10 Burst: 7 | S1 < S2 | Skill 1 provides her with a True Damage buff which affects the DPS she deals during Burst Time. Skill 2 is where a lot of her buffs reside. It should be prioritized not just for her, but also if using her alongside the full Absolute team. Investing in burst will mainly affect the damage of the round, while the damage taken debuff goes up slower. Stacks with Emma’s damage taken debuff from S1. | Mid-High |

hello, dear readers.
I have finished the preliminary guide quicker this time around.
Vesti will be up soon as well.
Hello, thank you for your analysis; cordially 🙂
Good job! I think In Arena Eunhwa close to Mari.
Thank you so much for the review, it helps a lot :))
