Dessert Rush Guide

Intro

Dessert Rush is a game mode that is introduced in this event. Simply sort the cakes and bombs in their respective sections and gain score!

To promote unhealthy competition, there’s also a union rank leaderboard! Brag to your friends on how much better of a maid you are compared to them.

Mechanics

COMBO IS IMPORTANT.

The combo system is an integral part for getting highscores. The player never wants this to be broken. Each 100 combo will increase the score of each sorted plate by 100 (Default: 100 points), up to a max of 500 points per sorted plate.

Fever Mode will increase the amount of combo gained per plate (Maximum of 5x combo gained per plate). Fever Mode activates every 20 successful plate sortings, and will last around 20s~

There will be special cakes that will appear. The first special cake will appear after 27 Successful plate sorting’s. Each subsequent Special cake will appear after 20 sorting’s. These special cakes will turn the NEXT 7 plates into the plate that is next in queue after the special cake.

After reaching certain combos, new cakes and bombs start appearing.

These cakes do not give any more additional points, and is there simply to confuse players. Losing combo will remove them from the spawning pool until those combo thresholds are reached again.

Tips

Newbies

When attempting your first S rank, it’s best to go slow and maintain combo. Try to finish the run without making any mistakes, and the player would find it much easier to get a much higher score than going faster but making mistakes. The special cakes will always at least spawn 7 of the cake/bomb next in queue, so its best to spam whether key 7 times and then start paying attention to the patterns again. After getting used to being able to complete a run without making an error, try to increase the speed you’re comfortable with doing. Consistency is key.

Maids

After getting comfortable perfecting runs, one may notice that the patterns aren’t completely RNG, and they have some kind of set pattern (ex, multiple bombs/ Multiple cakes in a row), familiarize yourself with these and it gets slightly easier to play at a faster pace.

I usually don’t look at the plate that’s currently in queue, but rather I look at the last plate in queue and memorize the plates while sorting. Although this becomes difficult at higher combos due to how similar the shape the bombs are compared to the cakes. I slow down to make sure to get them right then return to using this technique when the patterns are predictable again.

Keyboard Bindings

If your keyboard software supports mapping keys (Ex: Making the X key register as A), it should be alright to rebind (NOT MACRO) said keys without triggering any anti-cheat system. This is just for ease of comfort as the keys on PC may be in uncomfortable keys for some people.

For Mobile Users, players can use multiple fingers to tap faster.
