Overview
- Currently the best single-target DPS that can work with multiple “cheap” supporters. This is true even without her charge damage bug
- Cinderella has HP > ATK conversion. This means she works well with Max HP buffers, which other Nikkes aren’t in competition for. Normal ATK buffers still work well with her
- Extremely “durable” due to her decoy skill. Cinderella will always be destroyed last in any team, or be able to tank “highest ATK” targeting raptures with relative ease even without healers.
- Beats Scarlet: Black Shadow in her best team, with “cheaper” options.
- Despite being the best bossing DPS Nikke currently, her Campaign capabilities are not great. This is due to lack of AoE options, her projectiles being an issue on maps with multiple buildings (her projectiles swing wide, hitting anything in the way) and the nature of her burst (Too RNG, and more will be explained)
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Cinderella is pretty much the best single-target boss killer (without parts) as of now, no competition. Not only that, Cinderella doesn’t require as much meta supporters/conditions as other top tier Nikkes require (Scarlet: Black Shadow needs Alice, Alice and Red hood needs Naga/Crown + parts). Cinderella is the perfect boss killer that can be used in any boss content.
However, she leaves much to be desired in Campaign. Cinderella can and will hit hard in the damage screen, and will be more often than not the highest DPS in the result screen in Campaign missions. But this is the case of bloated numbers via her burst (Similar to scarlet dealing “full” damage to projectiles and it being shown on the result screen).
Cinderella is either “underperforming” or “overperforming” DPS in story stages. (More will be explained in her campaign section). Cinderella’s projectiles are also janky as they swing wide, meaning Cinderella will occasionally hit buildings/raptures that you do not want her to hit.

Normal Attack Information

Cinderella’s normal attack is a bit different from other RL’s, more notably her exceedingly high Ammo capacity at 24, Low ATK% damage, and full charge damage (usually 250/350%). Luckily her kit does easily mitigate those downsides.
Cinderella also has the description “fires a laser to perform a small-range attack”. small-range attacks are pretty much just bullets, meaning Cinderella’s projectiles have no explosive radius unlike other rocket launchers.

Skill 1: Flawless Glass
Activates when entering Burst Skill Stage 3. Affects self
ATK ▲ 2.71% of caster’s final Max HP for I0 sec.
Activates when attacking with Full Charge. Affects self.
Charge Speed ▲ 100%. Removed upon reloading to max ammunition.
Activates when hitting a target with Full Charge. Affects the target.
Deals 136.6% of final ATK as additional damage.
This skill is Cinderella’s Main source of buffs and DPS is, all located in one skill.
First, nerd math for people who want to know exactly how the Max HP > ATK conversion works.
Additional Hit Proc + Charge Speed
Cinderella has an additional damage on hit, this will also double her burst generation as well. 136.6% final ATK damage is 2x her own fully charged shot, which isn’t much since her normal attack values are low compared to other RL’s, however this is where her charge speed buffs come in.
Skill 2: Dirt-Resistant Mirror
Activates at the start of battle. Affects self.
Decoy: Creates an avatar with 96% of caster’s final Max HP continuously.
Activates when entering Burst Skill Stage 3. Affects self.
Decoy: Creates an avatar with 96% of caster’s final Max HP continuously.
Activates when decoy exists. Affects self every 3 sec.
Beautiful: Max HP ▲ 1.6% continuously, stacks up to 12 time(s)
This skill makes her unkillable, or at least will make her the last standing Nikke in the field. Cinderella’s decoy gains a full HP bar and replenishes every full burst, this decoy also protects cover HP. This will be very helpful in bosses that has “Highest HP” targeting or “Highest ATK” targeting, which are occasionally present in solo raid. This will allow Commanders to skip any sustain Nikkes if wanted, and just go for pure DPS. Although this is not recommended for Commanders with full Nikke rosters as the top tier buffer/supporters already have sustain paired with enough offensive support that another DPS is a total DPS loss. this is more for newbies who don’t have such Nikkes/options.
However, decoys don’t protect Cinderella from attacks of AoE nature, and will still get hit if there is a full-screen attack or an attack of AoE nature. Cinderella also has an interesting gimmick where her decoys can also protect a Nikke on her right side when they are hit by wide swinging projectiles and when said Nikke is also covering. This will likely not be applied in most, or any battles, but can be useful for some.
Max HP
Cinderella’s Max HP buff doesn’t matter much as it gives too little. It should equate to around a 12-13% ATK increase fully stacked. The stack itself is useful as it increases her burst damage.
Burst: Glass Slippers Full Contact
Affects random enemies.
Deals 682.96% of final ATK as damage. Attacks sequentially for 10 time(s).
Affects the same target(s) when in Beautiful status.
Deals 28.9% of final ATK as additional damage. Mirrors the stack count of Beautiful.
Very hard-hitting burst, around a bit less than half of her total DPS. Cinderella’s good auto attack damage and this burst combined make her into a single-target killer machine, even better and more versatile than Scarlet: Black Shadow (previous number 1 boss killer without parts)
Campaign
Unfortunately, Cinderella’s weakest point. She’s still decent in this mode but she has multiple glaring issues in this mode.
First of all, YES, Cinderella can deal a LOT of damage, and will most likely always be the top DPS in the result screen in almost all teams/cases.

Damage distribution + Inconvenient targeting
Cinderella’s damage distribution is the main issue (Bloated numbers). Cinderella’s burst more often than not will target fodder mobs with much more damage than necessary (similar to how Scarlet’s DPS screen results can be skewed by bursting with multiple projectiles on screen). It doesn’t help that the charge bug is bloating the DPS result screen even more.
Once Cinderella’s burst wipes out the wave, Cinderella has NO ANSWER to the other rapture waves that will spawn. She has no AoE capabilities, her projectiles can at times be unreliable and her basic attacks do not have enough DPS to quickly clear out raptures they attack. The only way to mitigate that is using a sub-dps (Scarlet, Modernia) and even then, that will not be enough to clear out waves in high CP deficits (30%+)
The current top-tier campaign Nikkes do not have this issue. they can either deal enough damage to consistently wipe out entire waves, have some sort of AoE capabilities (pierce, consistent screen wipe) that lasts through the whole full burst, or generate burst very fast, some having all of these wanted traits.
TLDR: Cinderella’s damage distribution is not good. Deals too much damage at the start of her full burst (overkilling), then deals too little to clean up the rest of the waves during her full burst, and is unable to properly “single out” dangerous raptures consistently.
Also, her burst falls off pretty hard at high deficits, so her strongest point isn’t even good at late game pushing compared to other characters.
Since Cinderella’s Projectiles swing wide, any raptures or buildings en route will unintentionally get hit. This is much more noticable if there are close range raptures and/or multiple buildings in the environment. Cinderella’s projectiles are unable to clear out these buildings effectively.
Anniversary Squad (Element Neutral)
Electric Squad (lightning weak stages)
Should be the best lightning-based squad for Campaign. Ein has consistent damage to wipe out mobs while also dealing true damage (ignores def) in the form of her near feathers, which is very helpful in high deficit clearing.
Anis: Sparkling Summer is simply there to buff Ein and Cinderella, but she also has decent mobbing capabilities in the form of her skill 2.
Arena
A very interesting Nikke in PvP. She can fit into essentially any team, and is also a decent option as DPS for sustain comps since she can also output good damage during full burst other than her nuke. She can directly replace any nuker in any team except in xAnne teams since xAnne doesn’t buff attackers.
Cinderella can potentially do more AoE damage than Scarlet, and if the opposing team isn’t wiped out, it’s at least guaranteed to take out a few Nikkes due to how her skills work. Her burst gen is also very low even though she is a rocket launcher.
Cinderella has a bunch of pros and cons of being used as a main B3. For a detailed review on her PvP use, check out the following guide: https://nikke.gg/pvp-review-cinderella/
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
As Mentioned earlier, Cinderella is the best single target killer out there while being easier to form a team around, even beating Scarlet: Black Shadow’s (With Alice as buffer) Individual DPS with a “cheaper” team. Cinderella also has more tools to ensure she survives fights.
Best in Slot Anomaly Interception Team (Electric)
Mirror container contains one of the most unforgiving mechanics in the whole game mode. The Commander needs to break one of its “slippers” in one shot, luckily in this team there are two available answers to that mechanic. That being a full charged Ein shot or a shot from Cinderella. If healing is somehow an issue, Crown can be replaced with Blanc.
Best in Slot Solo Raid Team (Electric)
Ein can be replaced with Scarlet if she’s more raised, However, Ein does perform notably better with the same investments.
Blanc can be replaced with Crown specifically in electric weak depending on elemental rolls of the whole team. While this team will indeed deal more damage than Scarlet: Black Shadow, that team is more reliant on crown than Cinderella’s team. So it depends if your Cinderella team has enough DPS to outweigh that in the form of elemental rolls.
Element Neutral
Cinderella fits in any team and does not need to be paired with a specific support or attackers.
It does however still need a burst generator as Cinderella does not have good burst-generating capabilities, so Nikkes like Maxwell,Ein,Alice (if no SBS), Red hood, etc can be slotted and burst gen in the form of spam shooting, basically spamming sniper shots. not having proper full burst rotations will drop team DPS by a good margin.
Substitute Supporters
To make it brief here, best viable supporters for Cinderella will be:
Crown -> Blanc => Novel (with charge bug) -> Mast
In regards to Rouge vs Liter, team DPS output is similar, with Rouge with the slight lead. This means that Rouge isn’t MANDATORY and using Liter if you don’t have any other options is perfectly fine. Screenshots below
Strengths
- Best Boss killer currently in-game with good survivability options
- Decent PvP usage
- Doesn’t need specific supports to enable her
- Cinderella doesn’t have strict overload requirements, just around 1-2 max ammo and you can roll for any offensive stats after
- Isn’t too skill book intensive as the Commander can skip raising her skill 2
- Truly the fairest of them all.
Weaknesses
- A bit lackluster in Campaign
- Broken, just like her sanity (Also quite literally, she was bugged to all hell)
Should you pull?
Absolutely, despite her Campaign performance being rather lack-luster (although still decent), Cinderella pretty much makes up for it by being the best boss killer in the game without needing specific Nikkes (Doesn’t need Naga, or a DPS pair similar to Scarlet: Black Shadow and Alice). Might as well be the best at one mode rather than just good/decent at all of them.
Even if her charge damage bug is fixed, it’s still estimated that her individual DPS will still be able to beat Scarlet: Black Shadow in their respective teams. Must pull, easier time against all bosses.

Give her a doll ASAP, Cinderella will be a staple for many boss teams. Although she doesn’t benefit much from the skill itself (additional charge damage multiplier), the stats do help a good amount

Interesting that her burst leaves much to be desired in campaign. So Modernia/RH still rules the day.. I guess I should finally OL Marian’s boots (just got some recently, RH, and SBS were first).
Who can i use in place of Ein in electric teams? as i wasn’t fortunate enough to get her during her banner and still haven’t gotten her from wish list/friendship
There’s Scarlet or Guillotine (hard to slot/use). You can just use your other best DPS nikke, as elemental teams don’t shine until you get overloaded gear on them and get elemental damage rolls and on a x element weak stage.
With using Scarlet instead of Ein in the mirror container fight, how reliably can Cindy oneshot the barrier mechanic?
I swear the rating is nonsensical.
Campaign is 8.8 (S)? Dog you literally list the reasons why certain nikkes are better in campaign (AOE, Screenwipe, Pierce, burst gen), and yet you still put her at 8.8 (S)? For the record that’s SBS’s rating, someone you said was “very good”, not “decent”, and she has something that makes her good in campaign (Screenwipes) and isn’t held back by shitty targetting.
PVP SS tier? LMAO. You know what else counters her other than biscuit noah? bursting faster, which she cannot do
Blanc* not biscuit sorry
That review was almost a year ago, and SBS’s rating was higher at the time (9.1). Characters have been released that show similar late game clearing.
Although, i’ve already had this planned for a bit, I’ve been trying to implement a system where it lets the users know that certain Nikkes are very good in early – mid deficit clearing (not a separate tier list or anything), this would include SBS, Emilia, A2 as they all share the (very good until a certain HP wall) problem. And will be assumed those Nikkes should be a tier higher than they are in the story tier list, and those ratings should apply to the less try hard audience. Cinderella will not be included there.
As for PvP, her review mentions she’s barely scratching SS tier and will be the first demoted if anything changes in the meta if you would like to read why.
That still does not answer how cinderella shares the same rating as SBS even though she doesn’t have any of the traits that make any nikkes great at campaign.
I mean have you even used her? She has nonexistent aoe on her basics, 0 burst regen, and her targeting is shit. Other rocket launchers can hit enemy behind/near cover due to their innate AOE, even SBS could do that after a few attacks. Or not to mention that her attack can just straight up misses your target if one of the projectiles curves and hits a structure/other enemies. Like at that point just bring scarlet since she kills much faster due to the lack of AOE
Forget about bringing her into high deficit campaign levels, your team would be dead before getting your first burst
Clarification: You should just bring scarlet over cinderella at that point since while they both lack aoe on their basics, scarlet still could kill mobs much faster when taking account missing/covers
I’ve used her, cleared multiple maps, hated using her in Campaign, wanted to understand why despite the huge DPS numbers. Then Proceeded to use SBS. Easier time
But yes, now that you mention they share the exact same rating, I was a bit generous. Her projectiles are rather unpredictable and needs a lot going her way to work for her to be in the same level as SBS. Haven’t updated the tier list itself in a minute in regards to campaign/bossing as I have a lot of scheduled nerfs/buffs backlogged.
Hopefully you find the guide accurate by itself besides the Campaign rating. Thanks!
Thank you for your response.
Sorry for being a bit too heated with my comments. Can’t help with being disappointed on how Shift Up is managing Nikke rn. They now have 2 anniversary back to back releasing disappointments (launch red hood and cinderella rn), though this time it feels worse since cinderella has barely any gimmicks to her, and the myriad of bugs that should have been detected on playtesting, especially her targetting issues.
A bit OOT, but compared to other gacha, it feels as if Shift up didn’t spend any cent to make this game better. Translation issues are still rampant, kits are still half-baked, the addition of more p2w in the form of doll yet the treasure system has more misses than hits when you consider pretty much only 1 buffed chara ever 2 months, and FOMO still isn’t addressed (rip red hood wanters i guess)
Thank you for your guides, they always help me to get a better understanding what is going on with all the Nikkes 🙂
I don’t really get, why people act that aggressive and devalue your work. Well, I really like your guides, they help a lot
!
I appreciate your kind words. I still always welcome constructive feedback and i’m open for discussions as such from commenters.
If I don’t have S.Anis who can be used as a replacement? Naga/Rapunzel to keep crowns atk buff up?
I Assume this is for Lightning weak bosses(Non-solo raid), Naga should be a good option just to keep up Crowns ATK damage uptime, although if this is for solo raid, it’s best to save your Naga for another team. Options such as Maxwell, and Privaty as pure supports is viable for your Ein and Cinderella as well. You can also try your luck with a DPS that doesn’t need to burst to do damage, such as Scarlet, Modernia or even Phantom.
Unfortunately there’s not a lot of b3/b2 off burst/passive buffers
I wanted to ask in the electric teamcomp of s.anis+cindy+ein, which bursts are best to use?
Thank you for the detailed guide.
I was waiting for Cinderella for a long time, but now that she’s finally here, I have mixed feelings about her as a character.
Yes, she is strong against bosses, but that’s partly due to a bug that Shift Up will likely remove. Besides that, for an anniversary Nikke and one that was supposed to be stronger than RH lore-wise (being a 2nd generation Grim model and the first heretic), she has abysmal energy generation, has a really hard time breaking interruption rings, has issues with targeting, doesn’t buff other Nikkes, and her self-buffs are just more HP and HP conversion.
Her story is great, and so is the voice acting (JP), but if you want to use her in high CP-deficit story chapters, she is a downgrade compared to already existing Nikkes, as you mentioned. So except for raid bosses, there are better options to choose from. Unlike RH, who is great in any type of content and feels smooth to play.
Personally, I had hoped for a small rework of her kit, but realistically, they will probably just fix the charge bug, which will be a nerf to her only outstanding aspect (bossing).
Just a small correction needed in the Arena section:
“except in xAnne teams since xAnne doesn’t buff attackers.”
Should be:
“except in xAnne teams since xAnne doesn’t buff defenders.”
Or:
“except in xAnne teams since xAnne only buffs attackers.”
What team would you recommend for campaign/story if I don’t have Crown?
Wait, aren’t we still waiting on a Cinderella’s “bug fix”? Pushing out a guide before that happens seems rushed, we don’t know if they’ll buff her bc they still want her current dmg or if the bug fix is the only thing they’ll do. I know all those retards in the early analysis were begging and screaming for one but I don’t think they knew about the “bug fix”
HI, I agree u, this is way to early for a Guides on Cinderella, it was kinda the same when they release Red Hood last year, u can even go back to her early Analysis release on Nikki guild and read all about it.
am sure there will be or is alot of complaint submit to shift up oready
I knew I wasn’t crazy ! I’ve only used her in campaign and was utterly disappointed, with everyone calling her the strongest thing around. Too bad the raid got cut short. Well, time to use her in interception, then, thanks for the guide !
No idea how, my Cinderella wipes the entire screen on hard mode chapter 23 and if the mini boss is there it does like half or 80% pf the health…
I was stuck on Glass Container for a month until I got Cinderella, she wiped the floor with it. I only wish she has AoE damage since she’s a RL
Huge question mark, on campaign does more damage than my Red Hood, unsure how is she “bad” literally she piss over every stage not sure if I’m just too good for people don’t have crown idk she’s just so broken in every content except pvp
She is strong, and can shine on certain Campaign maps, but on most others she’s pretty mid.
If the map has lots of mob waves, she’s not going to be much help aside from her burst, and given the way it works, it will only serve to pad her damage done stat since her burst will absolutely overkill, atomize the remains, then disintegrate the lingering atoms. There are plenty of other screen wipe B3s who don’t suck outside of burst, given the way her basic attack works.
If the map is a boss fight and the boss has many parts, she’s not going to outperform other B3s who specialize in hitting parts.
If the map is a boss fight with little to no mobs, and very few to no parts then she will absolutely clean its clock in every one of its iterations, from sundial to atomic. But these maps are not the norm in Campaign, though they do constitute some of the more annoying cock-block end stage boss fights.
But the biggest thing to keep in mind is the way her burst pads her damage done stat; you really can’t use it as a reliable metric in gauging her overall performance.
Can rouge replace with exia full build + fav item lv3?
What about Rem? She actually designed to buff rocket launchers.
New update saying that on the 7th they’ll be fixing the double damage bug but also doubling the base damage of her burst.
Pretty great fix too. They didn’t have to double the base damage of her burst to match the same damage with the bug, but I think they were afraid of having another Red Hood incident
Basically they fix bug but they buff her to do same damage as bug, call about redudant, huh.
Hi, is too late they may got a million complaints oready, we Nikki fan/ supporter don’t joking around XD
Can you make Grave’s analysis as soon as possible?
Cinderella better she piss all over the place and kills every ppl.
Is there any detailed guides for anomaly interception? Been looking for everything except Kraken, but most importantly Mirror Container since CIndy is out, but I can’t find it anywhere.
If I already have Alice powered up and past limit, is there any point to getting Cindy? Assuming every other slot is non-negotiable (which they basically are from what I understand). I super love her design and like her story but she just feels unnecessary and superfluous to other options which is very sad.
I think an undervalued part of her is the fact that you can just sit there and hold left click and you still do an assload of damage. Been struggling with campaign 28 and now with Cinderella, it’s a breeze. Literally just using her basic attack without using my brain. Some of yall are overthinking her kit, damage, etc. Easy to use and lots of damage
Kinda disappointing tbh, she doesn’t really do anything good enough that it’s a must to get her, if you have red hood or modernia, crown or scarlet you’re pretty much fine, she doesn’t do anything the other ALREADY existing nikke does that is better. Damage wise sure but other then that other nikkes like Red hood or crown is just much better in general, same situation with grave. Seriously why would you ever use grave over crown, it’s like shooting yourself in the foot. Needs MASSIVE buff, AOE damage on attack, faster burst, if they did that then she will be worthy of being 2nd Anni unit.
Yeah very disappointing just the best boss killer in the game and by a huge margin, when you get stuck in a boss stage and you don’t have her you’re going to suffer because she outmatches everyone on a boss fight.
If her skills scale her damage based off of her HP why not use the vigor cube if you already have a big ammo pool? Does the increased max HP not significantly boost Cinderella’s damage?
