Skill 1: Reptile Lover
■ Activates when recovering Cover’s HP. Affects self.
Cooldown of Burst Skill ▼ 13 sec, stacks up to 2 time(s) and lasts for 12 sec.
■ Activates when recovering Cover’s HP. Affects all allies.
Attack damage ▲ 32.11% for 10 sec.
Her s1 provides self cooldown reduction with Cooldown breakthroughs at 4 and 7. Despite having a 40s Cooldown on a burst I slot, this helps her make it possible to achieve 20s cooldown. The only Nikke that is reliably able to proc this skill at the moment is Naga. Other possible Nikkes that can help proc this via other means are Rupee and Pepper as both of them are able to increase Tia’s skill 1 stacks. Although, slightly scuffed, these are options that can be considered if only Tia was pulled.
■ Activates after landing 100 normal attack(s). Affects all Iron Code allies.
Increases stack count of buffs by 1.
Critical Rate ▲ 2.24% for 10 sec.Rupee Skill 1
Rupee
■ Affects 1 enemy unit(s) with the highest ATK.
Deals 731.25% of final ATK as damage.
■ Affects all allies.
Increases stack count of buffs by 1.Pepper Burst
Pepper
Liter and Cocoa are also able to recover cover, however Liter recovers 2 lowest HP cover. both Nikke cooldowns are clocked in at 15s per cover repair. Making it theoretically possible to have Tia and the cover repair Nikkes have their cover repair timed where they should keep the CDR stacks, However. Since Tia has innate max cover HP, she will be unrealistically be targeted consistently by Liters cover repair which will make her drop stacks often. Cocoa has no cooldown reductions which would make burst rotations extremely awkward and not worth the hassle.
Attack damage ▲ is different from ATK ▲ as they share different damage brackets. Attack damage ▲ belongs to a unique damage bracket that is only notably shared with part damage buffers (Currently only Dorothy, D, A2). Therefore this means that this effectively is a damage multiplier similar to Blanc’s Damage taken debuff when not using Nikkes with part damage buffs. More details found here.
Skill 2: Chameleon Invisibility
■ Activates after landing 5 normal attack(s). Affects self.
Cover’s Max HP ▲ 32.75% of the caster’s Max HP, lasts for 5 sec.
Attract: Taunt all enemies for 5 sec.
■ Activates when using Burst Skill. Affects self.
Recovery of Cover’s HP ▲ 21.41% of the caster’s final Max HP.
Recovers 21.96% of attack damage for 10 sec.
she taunts absolutely EVERYTHING unless manual play is considered. More on that on campaign section.
Cover’s Max HP ▲ works similarly to Noise’s Max HP increase, in where she repairs as much cover that is gained from this skill. However this does not proc her skill 1 Attack damage ▲ and cool down reduction. The buff needs to expire before re-application for cover repair to proc, which means manual play/spam shots on Tia is not very recommended.
Fortunately her skill 2 does proc her skill 1 buffs. Simply adds more survivability for the team assuming cover is properly utilized. Her life steal is negligible since she won’t be dishing out enough damage to benefit from the skill, still pretty neat to have.
Burst: Lizard’s Protection
Cooldown: 40s
■ Affects self.
Generates a Shield with 35.07% of the caster’s final Max HP for 10 sec.
■ Affects all allies (except self).
Generates a Shield with 10.21% of the caster’s final Max HP for 10 sec.
■ Affects all allies.
Re-enter Burst Skill Stage 1.
This skill allows the User to burst twice in the Burst I slot due to the Re-enter Burst skill Stage 1 trait. When using her burst first, the Player cycles to burst I instead of advancing to burst II. This means four burst effects can be active in one full burst rotation. However this means that she needs to be paired with another burst I Nikke or the Player will never be able to full burst.
Despite that unique trait, it is a rather straight-forward skill. Her burst provides shields to the team, although not much. This is still very useful in many scenarios as shields prevent overflow damage. To further clarify, if damage exceeds shield HP, the remainder of the damage will NOT “bleed” through and the Nikke targeted will not be harmed.
This is useful against boss raptures that have hard hitting attacks. some cases are Modernia’s core laser, Mace, and land eaters failed QTE prompt. It would’ve been great for campaign too, but her taunt mechanic makes it rather complicated.
the exceptions to the shield rule are raptures with “Pierce” Mechanics. Some examples are failed train QTE, Bow-tie Laser beams, and certain elite mobs in campaign. They can shoot through shields and cover.
Note: Tia’s Shields block bursts that target specific raptures due to shields being considered as “Obstacles” As of right now. Unknown when this will be fixed.
Important Notes
– Tia’s DMG taken buff WON’T proc if there is no cover to heal. This means that if her cover is destroyed most of her kit is now useless.
– Tia’s burst is needed to proc Naga’s core damage and additional ATK buff on her burst consistently without harming Team DPS.
– Re-enter burst stage has a slight quirk where there’s a small “cooldown” when re-entering burst I. Approximately 0.5s~
Campaign
Note: This assumes Naga + Tia are paired and high deficit clearing (~25%+ CP difference)
Absolutely a cursed topic. Tia’s skill 2 taunts ALL current raptures on screen and arriving raptures. This mechanic is a brick to her potential campaign clearing abilities as she’s very prone to be destroyed very early in the stage attempt. This is more forgiving in low-mid deficit campaign clears (around 10%~) where cover is not as easily destroyed.
However this problem becomes EXTREMELY apparent in late game campaign usage, namely in hard mode campaign. This can be somewhat mitigated Via manual play by just not having her shoot. But now the Player will be generating little/no burst generation as most burst generators need to be manually played and shooting. Visual reference of manual burst generaton here. They theoretically can output/provide more total team DPS than the bunny team in their ideal scenarios, however it is very rare for those scenarios to exist.
If wanting to use the pair anyways. The buffs they give are dynamic and truly lasts 10s unlike the blanc where the damage taken debuff is only applied on the current wave of on-screen raptures. This makes constant screen clearers like Modernia and Alice (Late-game) clear waves better on their burst. Do note that since we’re running a 2-1-2 formation, Modernia will be always forced to burst when she’s off cool down which may be inconvenient in some stages.
Highest DPS Potential (Late game)
Extremely hard team to use as Alice will be your only wave clearer, and you’re forced to burst with Maxwell when she usually wants to burst hold. However, if the stage doesn’t have oppressive waves prior to the final wave, this team can easily wipe out the target rapture. This team highly depends on how well the player can manual Alice to clear incoming waves before the taunted raptures are able to shoot at Tia.
Extremely awkward to use to manage taunt and burst generation.
Higher damage potential than bunnies due to core damage buff, Higher ATK buff and dmg multiplier from Tia and Naga. Alice and Maxwell can easily benefit from core damage as they are snipers. Due to taunt management, Bunny team is usually the better pick unless the stars align for the school girls. Unfortunately this occasion is rare.
Burst Holding visual reference and explanation here.
Comfort Team (Limited Nikke)
A slightly more comfortable team. a2 can generate burst energy without being manual’d and Naga is able to keep her health above 40% so she does not lose her buffs. Getting hit is not a problem either since Tia will face tank shots until she gets destroyed. Modernia burst would be rather deadly against squishy mobs due to Tia’s Damage buff and Naga’s core damage buff.
Liter can be subbed with any Burst 1 CDR nikke.
Cope Teams
As mentioned prior, Rupee and Pepper can be used to keep her stacks, however it is not recommended. Might be usable early game where getting hit isn’t very punishing. Just use your most preferred DPS’s when pairing Tia + Pepper or Rupee.
Arena
Tia as a mag rocket launcher, so her burst generation is low. She is able to provide shields to the team. Unlike shields in campaign, shields in PvP does NOT protect the users from overflow damage, which means hard hitting bursts like scarlet’s or 2B’s still has the capability off one shotting teams.
Tia Is able to proc her own skill 1 buff dmg buff via burst. Meaning she can be used as a liter sub in nuke teams, however a burst 1 is still needed in the team to full burst. Do note that the cooldown for re-entering burst is present in PvP, slowing down burst cycles. She does not offer enough utility or anything new to the table in the PvP.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
Note: Assume Tia and Naga pairing.
Tia’s main contribution to overall DPS comes from her S1. Attack Damage UP which is similar to Damage Taken debuff in the sense that they aren’t diluted as much. With almost full uptime throughout the fight, Tia’s Attack Damage rivals Blanc’s Damage taken debuff which is only active during Full Burst.
Bunny Team Comparison (Blanc + Noir)
Despite Naga giving core damage and high ATK buffing values, the most under-looked buffs when comparing them with the bunny team is ammo regeneration on full burst and even hit rate. The increased uptime on full burst is definitely a sizable DPS boost, the increased ammo capacity also helps Pre-overload equipment Alice or low ammo rolls tremendously. This would put the bunnies slightly above the school girls in some scenarios against bosses with no core or against bosses where damaging/destroying parts is the main source of damage. The Bunny team also doesn’t have a fatal brick (Cover destruction) making them more universal.
Special Interception
Tia + Naga should do very well in special interception despite her taunt mechanic. As bosses give 2x more generation than normal raptures, manualing her should not cause burst generation issues. Her shield can fully negate hits from Chatterbox punches and help mitigate team wiping mechanics which are present in Modernia and Grave Digger.
Furthermore, Snow white enjoyers rejoice! There’s a new one shot team that tia brings on the table which can enable lower investment Snow whites to one shot easier.
This team focuses on stacking as much damage multipliers as possible, dealing tremendous damage. Team quickly falls off if unable to one shot, in which blanc can be substituted for Naga instead for further burst cycles. Miranda can be subbed with liter as well.
Union Raid | Solo Raid
In UR and SR (excluding Challenge mode), depending on your Synchro level, Tia may increase your overall DPS or become dead weight. As Tia’s kit relies on her having a cover which can easily be lost when you’re fighting high level bosses. Manual control to prevent taunt can mitigate this issue somewhat but you’ll be sacrificing DPS in Alice teams. Because of reasons above (Mostly cover brick) it’s not recommended to use Tia on bosses with high damaging single attacks if you’re low level (below 241). On the other hand, if your Synchro level is high enough, it’s very unlikely that Tia’s cover will ever break from one shot, giving you a free DPS boost for the entire fight.
They (Naga + Tia) wants to be paired with Nikke’s that can easily hit cores, which is either Alice + Maxwell team or Snow white team. However they can still be paired with any of your preferred DPS’s and that team would do very well. Expected to be second highest damaging team or in some cases, highest damaging team when paired with the school girls.
Note: Assume paired with Tia
Strengths
-Higher DPS ceiling than bunny team due to the multitude of offensive buffs the school girls gives. (AKA, Extremely high DPS ceiling)
-Consistent shields and constant cover repairs greatly help team survivability
-Damage multiplier is not on burst, which greatly helps skill book economy
-Carries two “playable” basketballs at all times
Weaknesses
-Most of her buffs are depending on her having cover, in which her taunt abilities may very well work against that. Making her very hard to use or unusable in some PvE content.
-You’d probably gain a few pounds after a day with her
Notes
Despite campaign nitpicks, and average PvP performance, she does very well in what she’s design for. Enabling teams to annihilate bosses. Tia’s Usage is definitely greatly limited without Naga, however that is already implied and assumed you’d be pulling Tia when the User already has Naga. Otherwise she’s not worth using.
Should You Pull?
If you managed to pull Naga, it’s best to pull for Tia as well to complete the support duo, they’ll certainly find a solid place in high damage comps in Raid content. Otherwise if your focus isn’t on raid content and if you already have bunnies, you can safely wishlist Tia and see what anniversary has in store.
Players who don’t have the bunny team would want to consider Tia + Naga, despite being less universal. They can help newer players clear campaign and win against difficult bosses.

| Tia | 10 | 5 | 4 | Skill 1 Is the meat of her offensive support capabilities. Extremely good buff, level asap for solo raid and union raid usage. Skill 2 Improves her cover survivability, but usually this won’t be an issue as she provides enough at low levels. Burst simply gives shields, no investment really needed. | High – Highest |
