
Overview
- Comparable damage to Scarlet However harder to buff/has less team buffers. Can outclass Scarlet in some teams in boss battles
- A lot of self-buffs with a Modest normal Attack Modifier. This makes her kit self contained (Not too reliant on buffers) but Meta supporters that give ATK damage up is less effective on her compared to other Nikkes.
- Can do well in Campaign but is very manual intensive, toxic even (what were they thinking)
- Can hit cores well in certain teams (Alice:Wonderland Bunny) Similar to Quency: Escape Queen, but her core hits are weaker and not as impactful.
- Her distributed damage is weak in PvP due to needing raptures to proc skills, not targets

Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Phantom is a decent DPS (PvE) for starting Commanders, dealing good damage and can work well without any meta buffers due to her well-rounded kit with no glaring weaknesses.
At Max investment, Phantom is one of the few AR’s that can somewhat take advantage of her class doll/Naga core damage buffs due to her hit rate buffs.
Phantom is skill book heavy though, the player needs to upgrade multiple skills to bring out damage that can rival Scarlet. She’s a good addition in the wish-list as there isn’t much high priority DPS’s in Elysion.

Activates when hitting a Rapture with a normal attack if the Rapture is not in Calling Card status.
Affects the target.

Thief’s Dagger: Hit Rate ▲ 25.75% stacks up to 3 time(s) and lasts for 5 sec.

Attack damage ▲ 75.17% for 1 round(s)
Rather long skill description, but it’s very straight forward.
Gives permanent Def Down and Attack Damage (self) ▲ to any target she’s hitting. Her def down equates to around 10% ATK ▲ on equal-level content (Solo Raid, Challenges, Sim room overclock, etc) for the team.
Phantom’s Hit rate buff caps at 51% as opposed to 76% due to stacks resetting when fully stacked. On boss content, expect only 1 stack (25% Hit rate) on almost all bosses as usually there is only one target to hit.
Luckily, even with only 25% hit rate, Phantom can hit cores long-range somewhat consistently (60% core hits+?) with the aid of 4x Hit rate (level 11+/44~% total) overload gear rolls or 3x hit rate (33~%) and Alice: Wonderland Bunny with Manual aim. Close-Mid ranges require 2-3x (22-33%) hit rates
Increasing her hit rate to such levels does require a lot of investment and luck, but it is her most significant upgrade path when it comes to damage, even more so if Phantom has an AR doll (10%-17% + more core damage) or pairing her in Naga teams (125% more core damage)

Affects the target(s) in Calling Card status after the stacks are removed.
Deals 84.33% of final ATK as additional damage.

The Magical ✨ (Toxic) part of her kit. In theory, she can deal more damage than Scarlet: Black Shadow if there’s 3 raptures, and if all targets stay alive. But, this will never really be the case in boss battles, or even in Campaign battles.
But if you so choose to have the OPTIMAL phantom gameplay on your crusade to finish WATER ELEMENT WEAK campaign stages, here’s the revolutionary gameplay on what you need to do against the raptures
Do note that this can deal LESS SINGLE TARGET DAMAGE with certain teams as skill 2 can’t core hit, and you’re simply shooting less bullets at a target rather than consistently shooting at it. It’s better to fully focus on a rapture if the Commander wants to destroy a 1 certain target ASAP
Burst: Secret Trick: Rampage of Thieves
Affects all enemies.
Deals 1457.28% of final ATK as Distributed Damage
Phantom’s Burst deals slightly lower damage compared to Quency: Escape Queen. And Quency: Escape Queen’s burst can deal more damage than Dorothy’s burst, which is considered to hit pretty hard
This is due to her multiple Buffs that are multiplicative of each other (ATK x ATK damage ▲ x Distributed Damage).
Although, this burst does NOT work in PvP as the skill requires to hit Raptures and not any target.
Campaign
Phantom can be decent in Campaign, but toxic to play. She’s able to deal Scarlet’s auto attack damage, some AoE damage via her skill 2 or burst.
Her skill 2 doesn’t exactly help her kill bosses faster if the player can hit Rapture core consistently or has core damage buffers in the team. This is because.. you’re not consistently hitting the boss, and her skill 2 can’t core hit.
Phantom should hit cores easier in story mode as the Commander can stack her Thief’s dagger twice for hit rate and burst down boss/elites after. Re-apply if needed as the hit rate buff only lasts for 5s. Stacking beyond 2 will just reset the stacks.
Phantom Best in Slot Team
Arena
Phantom’s Burst is able to hit pretty hard, but not enough to one shot teams. Unfortunately, that alone makes her a pretty bad character to use in PvP as she can offer nothing else. No burst generation or supportive capabilities.
Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid
Special Interception
Phantom can be used against any special interception boss. She shines against Chatterbox and Blacksmith (Water weak). She works good with people who have incomplete Nikke boxes/Missing top-tier Supports as all the buffs she needs are already contained in her kit. She functions as a rival to Scarlet in terms of damage, but Phantom does have elemental advantage against 2 bosses, which does make her clearly better than Scarlet against those bosses.
Anomaly (Harvester)
Phantom is a good Nikke to use in Anomaly Harvester, but not quite BiS as Quency: Escape Queen and Ludmilla: Winter Owner can out-DPS her. However Ludmilla: Winter Owner is a seasonal Nikke, which does make Phantom the next best option.
Head Break Team (BiS Bossing Team)
If the Commander can’t break core head early via lack of DPS. Pierce Options can be considered instead, pierce Nikkes can hit twice, which also damages its head.

Solo Raid | Union Raid
Phantom will only be used in water-weak solo raids/Union raids if invested enough. Phantom may be a bit stronger than scarlet in terms of personal DPS, but Scarlet has dedicated top-tier support while Phantom does not.
Phantom is not part of the top 5 teams in neutral-element solo raid currently if the Commander has a full roster. This may change if they release any water buffers in the future
Water Weak Solo Raid
Not the best Water team, but it’s passable if the player lacks Quency: Escape Queen. Phantom needs to have high enough hit rate for this team or the Commander is best off using Tia/Naga for teams that can actually core hit.
Neutral Element Solo Raid (Blanc Variant)
Phantom should be replaced with Rei Ayanami if available as the team will net more DPS. But since this is a Phantom Guide, she’s placed here.
Neutral Element Raid (Alice: Bunny Variant)
Alice Wonderland Bunny helps Phantom stack her Distributive damage stacks and her hit rate while also keeping the team alive. The best budget option in Solo raids that doesn’t steal any top-tier supporters from other teams.
Flex Supporters can be Rosanna: Ocean Chicc or Novel. Replace Liter with any CDR if needed.
Strengths
- Single target damage comparable to Scarlet
- Phantom has hit rate buffs high enough to be able to take advantage of core hit buffs, which include AR dolls and Naga which is great in Campaign and boss battles
- All of her needed buffs are in her kit, which doesn’t make her dependent on buffers
- Almost Elysion Tower Savior
- Hot + Ara Ara + Magic ✨ = Waifu
Weaknesses
- Hit-Rate Hungry and skill book hungry
- Harder to buff with ATK supporters, and ATK damage supporters, which is what brings her down mostly from being a high-tier. High Normal Attack modifiers are rather important or Insane bursts.
- Can magically conjure ammo, but not magically conjure advanced recruit Tickets
