Skill 1: Short Circuit
Activates when entering battle. Affects all allies.
When attack an enemy projectile, damage dealt to that projectile ▲ 59.66%
continuously.
Activates after landing 100 normal attack(s).Affects the target and 2
surrounding enemy unit(s) if the target is in BOOM Install
Deals 91.03% of final ATK as Distributed Damage.
Elegg’s Skill 1 offers a big damage boost against projectile to help clear certain tanky projectiles. Although worded similarly to Blanc’s Damage taken debuff, Elegg’s buff does not bypass hit count mechanic (e.g.: Crystal Chamber’s massive crystal ball).
These projectiles have a separate hit counter and HP values which is different to hit count buffed mobs whose HP are low but has ludicrous DEF values to simulate the hit count effect. This severely limits the usability of her projectile damage buff
- Doesn’t Work Against: Any type of shields, Hitcount Bombs, ex: Cystal Chamber, Dagger Bombs from campaign, Any damage to projectiles that will show as “1” per hit no matter what CP.
- Works Against: Chatterbox Rockets, Grave Digger Drills, Nihilister Rocks, Modernia Bombs, Alteisein Missiles, etc.
Second effect simply allows Elegg to deal distributed damage to the target that is hurt by her burst which is indicated by her Boom Install Visual Effect. The AoE of her range for her distributed damage effect is very small, this effect will only realistically hit the 1 target unless there’s a Rapture very close to it. This damage ticks 3 times but will only still damage at max 91% of Final ATK (30.3% if it hits 3 targets) every 1.67s.

decently increases her DPS by around 22% when not hitting core and factoring her burst buff. Around 14%~ when hitting core.
Note: Her distributed damage only procs against a BOOM install target, which is a debuff inflicted when she bursts. This skill does not have full uptime.
Skill 2: Fast Charge
Activates after landing 60 normal attack(s). Affects all allies if the target
is in BOOM Install.
ATK ▲ 13.09% of caster’s ATK for 5 sec.
Activates when the target appears. Affect all allies.
Fills Burst Gauge by 100%. Activates once per battle.
Elegg offers a team-wide ATK buff during her burst. The buff is based on Caster’s ATK so the actual increase won’t be much (this translates close to 9-10% ATK up for a Attacker DPS with equal gear)
Target refers to the bosses (3:00 Stages), or the final wave boss rapture in destroy maps. targets DON’T INCLUDE other Nikkes, which means that her instant burst Gauge fill won’t proc in PvP, Base defense, or Defense stages.
This skill does not reduce cooldown, or resets full burst mode when target appears (Campaign final wave). Her fill burst skill serves little purpose except for maybe fitting in 1 more full burst in a 3:00 Round.
Note: Her burst gauge fill is fixed at 100% at level 1, which is rather neat.
Burst: Boom Install
Can it run boom?
Affects all allies.
Distributed Damage dealt ▲ 39.74% for 10 sec.
Affects the enemy nearest to the crosshair.
Deals 79.2% of final ATK as damage.
BOOM Install: DEF ▼ 35.64% for 10 sec.
A rather unique skill, as this is the first buff of its kind. This buff is multiplicative (Very good). This buff won’t be diluted by any other buffs, however it is diluted by damage taken debuffs for some reason (Somewhat bad).
- Damage taken debuffers: Blanc, Ludmilla: Winter Owner, Isabel
“BOOM Install” targets the closest enemy your crosshair instead of forcing you to choose a target. This method for target selection is superior as it is faster and prevents whiffs (common issue with Dorothy’s Burst). The burst deals a small amount of damage to the selected target and decreases its DEF stat.
There’s only a very few select Nikkes that can take advantage of this skill (Excluding herself). These Nikkes are:
- Dorothy – Doro’s burst and skill 2 can benefit from this skill. Usually buffs don’t affect Dorothy’s skill (except ATK) but it seems like Elegg is an exception. Her buffs usually also snapshot on cast however that isn’t the case here , and the buff can be applied after cast. However, it works less like a buff and more of a DPS ceiling raise. The player still needs to damage the amount increased by the skill to be able to deal that damage, which usually isn’t an issue in proper teams.

- 2B – Elegg only buffs her big hit, as her second hit is not counted as distributed damage. Mast is a better buff than Elegg due to Mast being able to buff 2B’s auto attacks as well, and not just her burst.
- Scarlet: Black Shadow: Most of Scarlet: Black Shadow’s damage comes from distributed damage. And would benefit rather massively from Elegg’s buff. This is the most realistic Nikke you’ll pair Elegg with, without having a specialized team.
Elegg’s def down is not “useless”, as it converts roughly to an 9-10% ATK up in solo raid. The effectiveness of this skill varies differently depending on content being tackled, but usually, when tackling against maps with high CP deficit, this skills gets slightly more effective, and vice versa.
Campaign
As a burst II solo buffer, she does not have much competition (Except for the undisputed support duos). her only competition would be Solo Naga, Rupee, and more recently Ade. She’s able to deal good damage with decent buffing abilities when compared to these 3, while also being the only Nikke to be able to consistently core hit raptures from afar.
Unfortunately for her buffs to proc, the target of her burst needs to actually stay alive or else the skills won’t activate. Realistically, her buffs won’t proc until the final wave, in where the target (boss) can actually take punishment without getting destroyed.
She’s good for Newbies who have Dorothy with no other DPS’s, as Dorothy can fill the role of DPS and CDR. Elegg increases Dorothy’s early game campaign potential. Her best in slot team would include Scarlet: Black Shadow.
Duo Alternative Scarlet Black Shadow Team
A pretty solid alternative if the player does not have any of the duo supports. In fact, Elegg should be better than the bunny team when paired with Scarlet Black shadow due to Elegg’s buff lasting between Rapture waves, instead of Blanc’s damage debuff lasting for one rapture wave.
- Liter Substitutes – Dorothy, Volume
- Flex Slot – Privaty (If Dorothy Pair), Helm, Maxwell
Early Game Dorothy Team
An early game team which focuses on buffing Dorothy, this playstyle will get phased out pretty fast once the commander reaches rather high deficits, but should be a relatively lax team.
- Flex Attacker – Pretty much just your best DPS’s
Arena
Unfortunately, the chibis in Arena don’t count as “target” so Elegg’s instant full burst gauge from her S2 does not trigger. She has poor burst gen as she’s an Machine Gun unit and isn’t practical in PVP scenarios.
Her kit can only have her fit two teams, and even then, will not be optimal to play with at all. She can go in 2B Nuke teams or Scarlet black shadow teams. But this is quite a horrible idea as MG’s generate close to no burst generation, and has wind up time. For that reason alone, she’s not recommended at all to try to fit into those teams.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
Her most valuable skill is buffing distributed damage which makes her ideal pairing for Dorothy, Scarlet: Black Shadow as their main damage source is distributed damage. 2B has synergy with Elegg but only first part of her burst is actually distributed damage, and that is not her main source of damage.
Another neat utility is instant full burst gauge thanks to her S2, it doesn’t save enough time to give you an extra burst in the fight but it does help speed up certain contents such as Simulation Room boss and SI, note that this is only applicable for end game players who can already full auto these content.
Outside these teams, it is hard to form optimal teams for her. She can be used for an easier time for blacksmith, Modernia bombs and Alteiseins Missiles in phase 2 if the Commander has problems destroying the projectiles due lack of AoE bursts/DPS.
Summer Anis / Scar Team (Interception)
Elegg is only buffing Dorothy in this team. She’s also receiving buffs from S.Anis as she’s Electric code, which reduces her reloading time, minimizing downtime and allowing her S2 to proc more frequently. Used in Interceptions where healing is not needed.
Biscuit Team (Solo Raid)
Yes, she has a role in the biscuit team! As she’s an electric Nikke, while also being a supporter, Elegg can benefit from both Anis: Sparkling Summer’s buffs and Biscuit’s buff, while also being able to buff Dorothy every other full burst (Or every full burst if wanted). This team should deal more damage than its Scarlet counter part while also being easier to play due to to being able to life steal via Biscuits buff, the only Nikke the Commander needs to worry about is Privaty.
Scarlet Black Shadow Team (Interception EX)
The distributed damage meme comp, not practical for raids as this team has practically no healing (Alice only heals herself by a small amount).
2B Team
Would be used mostly in Fire weak Raids. Mast would be a better buffer for 2B however if there’s no option to do so, Elegg can be used as a substitute. Elegg doesn’t buff both hits from 2B’s burst, but rather the first one, leaving some damage unbuffed.
Strengths
- Unique distributed damage buff (Although diluted by damage taken debuff)
- Decent Personal Damage with Decent almost permanent buffs as a Solo BII Nikke
- Strong projectile damage increase
- Opens up the potential of future damage distributed Nikkes Greatly
- Will fix your Power Outages
- Rip and Tear until it is done
Weaknesses
- Niche Buffs, which a very select amount of Nikkes can benefit from as of right now
- (Boom)er
Should You Pull?
A pretty decent burst II Nikke that opens up a lot of potential for future Distribute damage based Nikkes. While still also having a very solid team outside that Niche due to her Element, personal DPS and solo burst II buffs.
Pull 1 copy if the Commander has Scarlet: Black Shadow, Dorothy, or Biscuit Team. More Distributed damage Nikkes that may be released in the future will greatly improve her viability
Should You Wishlist?
Elegg isn’t in the top 5 in regards to who to wishlist generally, but she’s definitely rather close. However, if the Commander has all/most Nikkes above and do not have the meta support duos, she can be listed as a priority (top 5) pick for Missilis Wish listing.
Recommended Harmony Cubes

- Resilience = Used in Reload teams or any team with reload speed buffs (Anis: Sparkling Summer, Privaty)
- Bastion = Anywhere else

Skill 2 gives a rather decent ATK up. Burst fill % isn’t affected and will be 100% at level 1 Burst is where Elegg will be mostly used for. However only upgrade this skill IF USING HER FOR DISTRIBUTED DAMAGE BUFF. Otherwise leave at level 4 | Mid |
