This bug has been fixed in an update on July 18th and been confirmed by the community.

⑤ Fixed an issue where some of the effects of Bay’s Favorite Item Skill 1: You Can Do It and Favorite Item Skill 2: Cheer Up Together fail to activate when her Burst Skill is used.

Original Issue

The newly introduced favorite item for Bay is currently bugged and makes her completely unusable. If you use her currently, DO NOT upgrade her doll. If you’ve already done it, nothing can be fixed.
