Where does she even keep all those grenades?

Overview
- B3 that buffs other B3 units when they’re the ones to use burst, especially true damage dealers.
- Good wave clear vs normal mobs during Burst Time with S2 activations.
- Bad attack in Burst, but increased S2 proc frequency and buffs can help wipe out waves of enemies.
- Since lots of normal enemies tend to target the Nikke with the highest ATK, S1 is an amazing survival tool for the unit DPSing.
- Okay DPS vs bosses by default, but her buffs to other B3s can make up for it.
Should You Pull?
As Ada is a limited time collab unit, the chance that she will return is not high. While her DPS vs bosses isn’t the best, her buffing power to other B3s can make up for it. She is also a collab unit with incredible relevance in campaign, due to her True Damage AoE S2 and synergy with Vesti: Tactical Upgrade, currently one of the best units for regular maps in campaign, especially at a deficit. She also shows promise in PvP thanks to her S2 proc. I personally recommend getting at least one copy.
Newbie/Incomplete Box Section
Ada Wong is a B3 Electric RL Attacker Unit that prefers to support and throw out supplemental damage. Her kit is honestly quite simple, but effective, at what it does.
Her S1 is a good support skill for B3s, especially those that deal true damage. Her S2 grenade is okay wave clear in normal maps and is additional damage to bosses, and is her main way of dealing DPS. Her burst gives her buffs to boost the grenade’s damage, but the attack portion itself is honestly terrible.

Skill 1: Covert Support
■ Activates when entering Full Burst. Affects all Burst Stage 3 allies who previously cast their burst skill
ATK ▲ 60% of caster’s ATK for 10 sec.
True Damage ▲ 50% for 10 sec.
Recovers 10% of damage as HP for 10 sec.
When entering Full Burst, Ada will affect the B3 ally that used their burst skill with a really good buff, especially if they deal true damage. As there’s no such thing as a ‘re-enter Burst 3’ ally, normally, only the B3 Nikke that used their burst will benefit from the buff, whether Ada or another B3 Nikke.
Since the general ATK buff is caster ATK, it scales with more copies and increasing Ada’s base ATK. While it is a sizeable caster ATK buff, I wouldn’t recommend pulling more Ada just to increase its power. Despite her limited availability, it’s always better to save pulls for future units, and 60% caster ATK at LB0 from an Attacker is still very valuable to any B3 attacker.
Ada gives a big boost to true damage to the B3 unit that used their burst. Since the buff itself doesn’t give ‘true damage’ dealing capabilities, only B3 units capable of dealing true damage can make use of this part of the buff; this includes Ein, Laplace, Vesti: Tactical Upgrade, Ada Wong and the incoming Jill Valentine next week, as of this guide’s writing.
Similar to Helm’s burst, any Nikke affected by Ada’s S1 buff will heal for a portion of any damage they deal. Since DPS units tend to deal millions of damage a second, it’s a near guaranteed way to live anything but ‘one shot’ attacks. Since a lot of raptures are programmed to target the Nikke with the highest ATK, this is a great way to help them survive onslaughts of enemies, especially in the campaign.
NOTE: Due to always being classified internally as a B3, Rapi: Red Hood, is capable of taking advantage of Ada’s S1, even when she is ran as a B1. Since Red Hood is not actually classified as a B3 unit, she is never able to make use of Ada’s S1 buff. This is intended.

Skill 2: Flash Grenade
Activates during Full Burst. Affects enemies within attack range nearest to the crosshair every 2 sec.
Flash Grenade Toss: Deal 420% of final ATK as True Damage.
Activates when using Burst Skill. Affects Self.
Flash Grenade Toss activation time condition ▼ 1 sec for 10 sec.
When entering Full Burst, Ada will activate a True Damage AoE explosion at her crosshair every 2 seconds. Since it deals True Damage, it’s a good wave clear tool in campaign, similar to Vesti: Tactical Upgrade. However, despite its appearance seeming to be about the size of a regular rocket launcher blast, the actual hitbox is smaller than it looks.
If Ada uses her burst, the flash grenade activates twice as often. This will really amp up her wave clear in campaign. In spite of the size of the small AoE, since it affects units near the crosshair, she can aim it as a way to focus down clusters of enemies in campaign.
Due to the mediocre attacking portion of her burst, this will be her main source of DPS in any scenario, especially against bosses.

Despite the graphic, the actual damaging hitbox is smaller than what it appears.
Burst: Secret Agent
Affects self.
ATK ▲ 40% for 10 sec.
True Damage ▲ 42% for 10 sec.
Special Modification
Function: Decreases Charge Speed but increases Charge Damage for 1 round(s).Charge Speed ▼ 300%
Charge Damage ▲ 1500%
Ada buffs herself with regular ATK and True Damage, increasing the damage of her S2 Flash Grenade, especially when S1 is factored in as well.
She will also temporarily modify her weapon to release 1 super shot. However, don’t be deceived by the big charge damage number, it is a lot weaker than it looks. Unlike a unit like Maxwell, or Snow White, that also change their weapon when they use burst, Ada keeps her base weapon when performing this attack.
Due to the fact that Ada keeps the same weapon, that +1500% charge damage multiplier is pumping up a weapon with base 61.3% ATK. It would be fine if she kept the same charge time, but the charge speed reduction also hurts her. It will take her about 4 seconds to charge up for a ‘super shot’ that deals significantly less damage than what seems like a similar attack on another unit.

Ada’s Burst doesn’t change her weapon in use.

Assuming no other modifiers, this is the damage the one shot is capable of dealing.
Secret Agent
61.3% x 1750% ~ 1072%
4s charge time.
Pierce Shot
813.42% x 300% ~ 2440%
2s charge time
Seven Dwarves: I
499.5% x 1000% = 4995%
5s charge time
Just to give an idea, at max rank, and at max charge, the attack portion of her burst only deals ~1072% damage. One S2 grenade activation when her burst is active already comes close to that damage dealt, and that damage is dealt within 1 second. By the time Ada fully releases the shot, the 4 grenades that activated will far outdamage the super crossbow shot.
In spite of how mediocre the attack portion of the burst actually is, it’s still a DPS up for Ada to fully charge and release the shot, as 4 regular full charge attacks within the time frame deal less damage than the 1 super shot.
Campaign
Where Ada can shine the most, arguably. She’s effectively a mini-Vesti: Tactical Upgrade in campaign on her own, quite literally, as her true damage AoE is a lot smaller, and is only active during burst time. In spite of that, the higher the campaign deficit is, the more valuable true damage becomes. While she is capable on her own, she is at her best when providing support.
Her small AoE is still capable of dealing with clusters of enemies, though it will have to be better aimed. Even though she is effectively a lesser version of Vesti: Tactical Upgrade, rather than replace Ada entirely, the two work well together. The same is true for Ein in campaign, and to a lesser extent, Laplace (F) and non-true damage Nikkes.
Due to the fact that most raptures are programmed to target the Nikke with the highest attack, the heal aspect of Ada’s s1 is valuable for the Nikke dealing DPS in burst time. At a high enough deficit, when true damage becomes the only way to deal significant damage, Ada’s S1 true damage buff goes up in value. Ada’s S2 combines with true damage being dealt by other nikkes to destroy waves of enemies.
Arena
While Ada is capable of dealing great damage in arena thanks to her S2, the small AoE on it means she’s only going to be hitting one unit at a time with it. In spite of how unique her weapon looks, she is still considered a standard RL unit with regular burst gen. She will need supplemental burst gen from other PvP units to work better.
Similar to Vesti, her true damage can be overwhelming to the target being affected by it. Even though it only hits one at a time, with the right support, it can legitimately clear entire teams on its own.
While her burst is at its weakest in campaign and bossing, it is at its strongest in PvP. It can severely damage or outright incapacitate up to three Nikkes once it’s fully charged, depending on who is targeted, alongside the rocket’s splash.
Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid
While true damage is incredibly powerful in campaign deficit, its advantage mostly disappears entirely in content where power deficits don’t happen. While Ada’s S2 deals good damage to bosses with burst active, Ada’s burst is not good. By default, a lot of Ada’s strength in boss battles will come from the support she gives to the main DPS unit.
Due to how terrible Ada’s burst actually is, she is a valid candidate for a specific tactic with Miranda (F). When Miranda has her favorite item, and it’s in at least Phase 2, she gives a buff to the Nikke with the highest ATK, which Ada can easily achieve thanks to S1 and burst providing her with ATK.

At max rank S2, Miranda gives the highest ATK unit +85% crit chance for 1 shot. This adds up with the default 15% crit chance for a 100% crit chance. As long as the unit doesn’t shoot, they maintain the 100% crit chance. Since Ada’s S2 fires off on its own without needing to shoot, this makes her S2 grenades always crit, as long as she can keep the buff.
Since Ada’s burst is not good, all you have to do is have Ada take cover while the crit boosted grenades do all the work. You can begin charging up the shot near the end and only shoot when you see the last grenade hit, to be a bit more efficient with the tactic. This is the best way to increase her personal DPS against bosses in content.

Strengths
- Provides a big DPS and survivability buff to B3 nikkes that use their burst, especially true damage dealers.
- Decent wave clear with grenades.
- Good supplemental damage against bosses.
- True damage increases in value the higher the campaign deficit.
Weaknesses
- Terrible attack portion of burst.
- S2 AoE is quite small.
- Regular RL burst gen hurts PvP potential.

Doll Priority
Since Ada is primarily a supportive DPS unit, her doll priority isn’t as high as dedicated DPS units. While the raw ATK from the doll can increase the buff power of her S1 caster ATK buff, unless you have resources to spare, I wouldn’t recommend giving her a favorite item just to increase the buff power of S1. I’d consider her priority for a doll Medium.

Skill 2 is her main, and practically only source of DPS. While her burst is terrible, the buffs it provides for her grenades are still valuable. It can be increased further than the minimum to get a bit more damage out of them, as well as for PvP purposes. | High |

Did Capcom step in and say “You can’t make our characters more sexy” or something?
I feel like this collaboration is quite the letdown.
I agree. After the summer event and the bunny girls, the collab with RE feels extremely weak. Ada and Jill simply can’t compete in sexiness. Or even in strength and usefulness, which is extremely disappointing.
Yeeah` Capcom most likely put a limit of what SU can do with them which makes a lot of sense.
Yup probably thats what happened here. Honestly they dont even look good comparing to those from RE games, i could barely tell which one is which by face.
Collab units are always underwhelming because you can’t get them when they are gone, they are just for collection and yes, pretty sure Capcom doesn’t want their characters to be portrayed that way. Some companies make money on sexy characters and others do it in a different way, imagine there was a Pokemon collab and the character in question was a girl dressed in a Pikachu suit with giant bazooongas, and Nintendo said yes to that, it’s just not happening.
First part is not exactly true, as we seen before they do re-collabs once a while and they are not afraid of doing them more than once, the longer game state goes they more likely they will do that instead of new content, cus its easy to do and they cant just produce new nikkes forever. I used to care about collecting every nikke but nowdays meh, i have what i needed, now is time to bank up gems for something really good.
fuck the ‘they arent sexy’ bs, their designs in general arent very interesting. Ada aside, theyre off looking and not that well translated. Also weird to put them into a game like NIKKE where designs and outfits are over the top. they did miss with Ada’s pass costume not being the OG (iirc)
Would it be better to just save for the new Pilgrim units that will be coming??
well im a collectionist myself, so i gotta get em all, specially the collab ones since those you will never see again
Are you this low in jims or golden tickets? Then yes.
But if you have a resonable amount of resources, I would pull because collection
doesnt she make Ein arguably stronger? or is just coping?
Why aren’t Ada and Jill still listed on the tier list?
